Dude, don't worry about the nonsense.
Many here are more than happy to field questions that are genuine and sincere. You have to understand though.... others posing as curious onlookers turn out to be TWU minions in sheeps clothing. We're weary of the goons lurking behind computers who seek nothing but to harrass & try to cut us down to size. You may be one for all I know.
But every post you make--is being privately evaluated by us.

You guys at AA have been sucking hind tit for how many years now? Just how many years are you going to give TWU? Maybe AMFA will be better maybe not but the TWU has most certainly shown what they are capable of. You guys need to toss them to the street like we did to the IAM and give them a wake up call.

Using terms, like everyone or NO one, implies others and/or more than yourself.

Thank You for the support. And many of us do know the truth about what happened at Northwest Airlines, it is the FEAR spread by the TWU that causes AMT's to think otherwise.

Most are starting to ignore the TWU FEAR, but there are still a few that drink the kool-aid daily. Their favorite flavor is fear-berry.

Please stick around and stay on these forums, I have a feeling we are going to need to be answering some questions and setting the facts straight for some and your input would be appreciated.

We will need Southwest AMT's help also.

Change is Good....Do Not Stay With TWU because You FEAR Change....I worked at AA from 2005-2008 and I Hated The TWU then because I did not like the TWU siding with the company... I'm ex TWA and we had the IAM and I am IAM now with US and very happy with my union.. I don't know much about AMFA but if I was still at AA I would definitely sign a card with AMFA and any exTWA employee working for AA definitely will sign.TWU is a HORRIBLE Union...Good Luck AA Mechanics and GO AMFA...

I signed a card too.
The decision was easy. Back room deals, secret meetings and letters of agreement have been done for years.What did we get in return for making DWH a maintenance base?

A huge factor was TWU pushing the Yes vote right along with J Ream Senior VP, after saying they would remain neutral. There it was, evidence that the union and the co. are cronies. So, I got tired of paying dues, just to have the union take the company's position.

Lets have an election and vote on representation.
May the best union win.

Not to worry, this election will happen after BK,

Can your explain why you would you sing a AMFA card when you are all about the IAM . and what about the whole seniority TWA thing

Nitro; I have no gain in this as I am a SWA mech. Whatever you do, please get fully informed about AMFA. Do not neccesarrily go just by us folks out here in cyberland. Call AMFA National and drill the hell out of them, they will spend some time with you. We will never look back here at SWA, never been happier that we FIRED the teamsters...

IMO by signing an AMFA card you are not necessarily supporting AMFA. You are saying that we need a change. We will vote on what ever union puts there name in the hat. Majority picks the union.
