You ask questions like a typical Union Worker that knows nothing more than TWU industrial unionism.

I honestly don't know what AMFA would have done, but TWU has done enough so I am willing to try something different. The only time we EVER got a decent contract to vote on was because AMFA got their people a raise and the TWU had to get us one too. We only enjoyed it for 18 months though before the TWU "Barganed" it all away along with all the benefits. TWU also the first to have "B" scale and the last to get rid of it. The first to give away free medical. The first for SRPs. Also gotta love the Junior mechanic upgrade program that offered free A&P licenses to career cleaners, stockclerks and fleet service guys. If you are happy knowing you will always be the lowest paid AMT in the industry and have inferior benefits to the other work groups then you have the right people representing you. If not sign a card and lets get these guys out of our lives.

Can't think in a better time than now. You have to be blind not to see that TWU does not look for our best interest.
Please wake up. Just read or listen to Jim Little to realize he is not our side. Stand for your craft to one day have the respect we deserve. Get rid of TWU now.

The Membership WILL RUN AMFA.

Why is that beyond your understanding?
Every Union is not like the TWU, where you pay dues and they save you from yourself and notify you what has been decided.

AMFA is a democratic Union, By the Members, for the Members.
Why do you think the AA flight attendannts left the TWU for the APFA and never looked back?

It is at least good to see that the TWU sympathizers have shown up again, with new user accounts, fear mongering with all their might.

Its just bad timing !! The economic situation outside of AA is so gloomy... If thing were booming outside of AA you might have a good point. Where were all the card drives 3 or 4 years ago?

All unions are business, nobody is perfect. It can not be worse than TWU. I'm willing to try.
