Amfa Card Count

So lets see. According to twSCEWer the 54.2% of class and craft card signers where coerced by so called AMFA tactics. By this twSCREWer is saying that those who signed cards are either too stupid to know what they're doing or AMFA supporters put guns to everyone's heads and forced them to sign.
We all know that is a bunch of BULL for it is the TWU who time and again lies, disinforms, intimidates and has wife beating local presidents try to run over people with their pick ups.
Don't worry twSCREWer, March 17 is around the corner and we will see who prevails. Besides it's more fun to wait and see what new and inovative asine antics TeAAm TWU and it's PR firm can come up with.

TWU LLC, A WHOLELY OWNED SUBCIDIARY OF AMR CORPORATION!

Oh Tony, there you go putting words into people's mouths again. Another AMFA Tactic. I have talked to quite a few people who said they signed cards just to shut you guys up.

Something to think about. . .

Yup, that is something to think about.

8848 Total Signed Election Authorization Cards by Station and Title Group:
Updated, Saturday January 31, 2004 at 02:20:55 PM. Our goal is to obtain 60% of the Craft and Class of
Mechanic and Related, and at this time, our estimate of that number, with 'elbow room' is approximately 9,621 cards.
Using that number, at this time, we are about 92.0% to our goal, or approximately 55.3% of our Craft and Class. Good job so far, and let's
REDOUBLE our efforts and GET THIS DONE!

Now why does that dam card count keep going UP! UP! UP!
maybe the same reason why only 13 folks showed up at AFW 567's
monthly january union meeting for day shift it lasted 13 min.

Because the membership say's it's Time for the twu TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY-------get it!! dont let the door hit you on the way OUT!!!!!!

My concern is that I may have to work OT to help turn the lights out. So worry about your own tool box. :D

Concerned???? You do know that AMFA will inherit our "iron clad" twu/AA agreement. It's years before we can open it. The membership will have final say on letters of agreement. You need not worry about the lights, so relax. AMFA will come in and we'll spend our years building our Local 12 bank roll. Hell, easy money for the AMFA to police our industry leading contract. Take a deep breath and count to ten.................focus on breathing. We're in good shape.
It is "iron clad"................right?
Here's to the twu............
Double time................I don't think so.....
Cheers.........

It will be okay, the world will not end. A motion at local 12 will be made to bring in Dr. Phil to help out the former twu officers. :p :p

j7915, you are JUST concerned about turning out the lights? Here is a reality check for you, the AMTs have been kept in the dark for years with the twu paying the electric bill. With AMFA there will be light to show the membership the correct path to take to protect and promote our craft and class.
After AMFA kicks the twu off the property we will ALL be working side by side next to our tool boxes. Just like it should be. So why don't you accept that the twu's industrial union mantra does not work for skilled AMTs?

Good question, I will give you a non-sarcastic reply because this is an important issue.

Local 15 will be the name per the AMFA constitution.(good read)
http://www.amfanatl.org/Pages/10_Publicati...AConst01idx.pdf

A MCI Local would not be established prior to an election victory. A campaign office is a possibility for use by the committee. After the election a transitional committee will be established whose primary goal is to get the local up and running including the election of officers/shop reps, local by-laws, election committee, etc...

If UAL Tech reads this, he could probally fill you in better.

There will be no local for MCI because there will be no MCI.

Are you now admitting that there is no language in the contract requiring MCI to remain open. Did we just give up 1.8 billion and not have a guarantee of the bases to remain open. Please tell me it isn't true.
