American Airlines issued WARN letters to the TWU International

Yes losing jobs is a serious issue. If we had voted the CBA down it would have been greater job loss. TWU screwed you? Maybe if you had listened back in May 2010 you would have had an extra $20K plus in your pocket but you were too smart weren't to fall for that? Can't fool you.
WTF, are you smoking? I've only been here 14 years and I've never got a raise other than "topping out." In 14 years I've lost money, sick time, holidays, dbl time, vacation, laid off, work rules, and I've forgot what else because it's been so much. Now this BS contract. So what has the TWSCREW done lately? Oh, I forgot...give everything that has ever been fought for by unions (this one an many others) away like a whore with a blue light special! How stupid are you? Can really say the TWU has done #### for us? Give me a break. People like you make me sick.

I heard that the TWU is sending some reps to Tulsa to settle down the troops. What promises are they going to make this time?
The line guys screwed you?
The NO voters tried to screw you?
The non voters really screwed you?
The Early outs are going to offset all RIF's?
AFW guys are not coming to Tulsa?
DWH has enough openings for all RIF's in Tulsa?

How about the truth for once.
Sorry we really screwed up this time.
How can we make it up to you?

TWU represented employees who may experience an employment loss on or around December 16, 2012 are at the following locations:

Tulsa 2330 title 1 may be affected.

You know what would be sweet justice is that all of the 2330 title 1 who voted for this piece of crap and carried it for the company are affected by it. Way to go Tulsa ,way to go. You deserve everything thats coming to you.

' Dissident ' .......You ARE Soooo Right. EVERY YES voter who loses his job DESERVES all the on-coming PAIN !

HEY, don't even begin to THINK about...what message you MORONS would have sent to AMR if you Joined all the NO voters.

TWU Informer....WARNED you IDIOTS...over, and over, and over again about voting YES.
Hey, maybe all you hot-weather lovin' OKIES can go up to the Bakken oil fields in North Dakota. They got guys making $6-7 G's a month(after taxes), and you'll LOVE the -25 degrees plus the 50 mph winds.

Agreed that more than 300 will be affected. Remember there will be a huge reduction at AFW which means many of them will bump around the system. Not only will TUL lose approx 700 Title I, there will be displacements in other places including TUL. That is the reason the number of Title I's getting letters is so high.

Thanks to YOUR lovely TWU they allowed the company to rewrite the Line maintenance qualifying test. It is not a shoe in anymore. If one fails the test twice he goes back to overhaul unless his position is eliminated. Then he hits the streets with more seniority than others still on the job. Another failure of the TWU. Way to go TWU Stooges. So tell me this. If one fails the test twice and hits the streets when does he get recalled? If overhaul is gone he has no where to go. Did the union think about this situation?

Man you flip flopped faster than Mitt.
How so? The number going to the street will be reduced by the amount of EO's and SiS. The actual amount displaced will be much higher due to relocation of work. No flip flop, just the truth.

Keep in mind, the RIF's were to be much higher with no EO under the 3/22 term sheet. You would have been crying for the CBA when that had happened.

Is an EO or a SIS a headcount reduction/job lost?
Or just those that are RIF'd?

I am struggling with the "OKIE" Local 514 math?

You will most likely be given the test in your Base. What are you afraid of? Pull up the test. You studied for your A&P by reading the ACME books with all the questions didn't you and you passed that.

Much higher with the March 22nd term sheet? How do you know that for sure? Just because AA wanted more does not mean they would have gotten it. Who are you trying to convince that the TWU saved jobs? Maybe your job for now.

There was going to be a headcount reduction regardless of whether or not we got an agreement. You know that.

EO's and SiS mitigate the amount of involuntary RIF's.

Its not the same test you idiot. It is all new and we do not know what is really going to be asked in the oral part of it. Fail it twice and your gone. No ACME books to buy at the local flee market. I feel sorry for the guys that have to take it in order to save their jobs. Saving jobs was suppose to be the TWU's position. A real union would have fought hard to protect the OH guys from losing their jobs at all costs.
BTW: There were no ACME books when I went to school.

Oh they would have. Lane agreed with all of AA's arguments on labor costs in his decision he did not agree with two key parts having to do with the type of relief. So given that Lane agreed with AA's high labor cost arguments he would have abrogated the agreement leaving the door open for AA to implement the 3/22 term sheet. No does that mean that AA would have outsourced to the 40% + existing outsourced work (50% OSS) is open to speculation. The fact is AA would have gotten the ability to outsource at industry standard levels. Keep in mind, 1113c is not about doing what's fair by the employees, it's for the creditors getting the maximum return on their original outlay.

Yes, my job could go which is the reason why job protection clauses are hollow in my opinion. When the APA threatened a strike I was handed a RIF notice even though I was protected. During the post 9/11 RIFs I was again threatened with RIF due to force majeure clauses even though I had job protection.

Is anything for sure. Voting yes was the safer bet in this case even though it is crap deal. No one said the CBA was great however that May 2010 deal looks freaking awesome now doesn't it? The TWU "stooges" recommended a yes vote on that and you listened to the smart vote no coalition guys. How'd that work out for you in the paycheck department?

The QAM is on the jetnet brother. Look it up.

And Line AMTs had a lot of grief over the old RIF language. OH guys were taken care of because they could bump out to line stations that had BC's with no test before bumping. But Line AMTs had to take the test before bumping. How was that fair? Now we are all on the same footing and you don't like it?
