I have not heard anything from Parker concerning the Nicolau abomination. We know it made it into his office. We don't know if it made it into his filing cabinet, desk or shredder.

"Keep reaching" you say? Do you really think that the seniority sections of both contracts are not germane now, or when you waste your time filing frivolous lawsuits? Do you think your contract is a small stumbling block that maybe some federal judge may be willing to overlook only to get you to stop whining?

Well let me be the first to tell you that Parker has accepted the Nicolau award, in writing at that. As far as the seniority in both contracts, well the Nic, is part of both contracts right now, just like the TA.

Quote "the letter"
For employees in work groups represented by unions, the question of what will happen to your jobs is even harder for us to answer because so much of what will happen is outside management’s control. Our labor contracts contain different provisions governing how seniority lists will be integrated, and depending on your specific contract, provide for integration in accordance with a particular union’s merger policy or certain “Allegheny Mohawkâ€￾ seniority integration provisions. We will honor those contractual commitments, and the ultimate outcome of seniority integration will be determined by your collective bargaining representatives as dictated by your contracts.

At present CBR is ALPA. After 17 Apr?

The CLT reps have already been announced, and the PHX and LAS are TBA, not TBD. http://1.usairlinepilots.org/Structure_and_Staffing.htm

For folks like you who have made up their mind already, why should USAPA kowtow to any any of your demands? There is nothing in it for them.

So because I have made my decision which doesn't agree with what you think is right in the world then the Board of Directors who wants to represent all pilots East and West won't tell us who will represent their largest domicile.

It is nice to see such "transparent" leadership from the get go. Anything else that the USAPS are hiding from the West because some of us "have made up our mind already"? I thought the USAPS were an all inclusive type group.

Keep Arguing nonsense. I imagine that most of the voting has already taken place. All that is necessary is to wait until the 17th to find out which direction this is headed. It sounds as if you guys are trying to convince yourselves that there will be no changes to the Nic award. I would wager to say that there WILL be MAJOR changes, no matter which side wins.

As for lawsuits, either way there are going to be lawsuits. If ALPA loses, you won't have their deep pockets to fund your case. But USAPA WILL have you dues or fees to support theirs.

Go ahead. Come up with some other stupid argument about why I'm wrong. I'll be waiting.

USAPA simply wants to physically protect their PHX and LAS reps from west thugs until such time as they have legal standing at USAirways. At that time, the company will be a party to protecting union reps on union business, along with their capacity to discipline and terminate.

Physically protect huh?.....Didn't your East USURPA thugs assault and batter a ALPA rep?

Since when does a person need a union position to be physically protected from other employees or for that matter non physical abuse like harassment? As a matter of fact there is a whole section on "Workplace Violence" that addresses such issues in the Employee Handbook.

So USAPA have the guts to do what is right and stop hiding your selections for base reps.

nycbusdriver,
Parker and Kirby said in a face-to-face meeting with the Wets pilots regarding the Nicolau ruling - "This is a lottery ticket you cannot cash."

What part of "cannot cash" don't the Westies understand? Parker and Kirby get that this Nicolau list was grossly unfair and to be implemented on the property could do harm to the company.

All the YouTube videos of the PHX roadshow just show this is a group that's going to be a problem indefinitely. They talk about being "Caged in" in PHX. They chose that long before US Airways came along. There will be no flying the PHX coop anytime soon.

On that note:Go to the HUB and watch the NOV 2007 Kirby Pilot meeting in PHX. He says no less than 6 times that this NIC deal is DOA as it stands. He and Parker understand very well what is going on. It will be up to both pilot groups to get this thing resolved. Not management and not Nic.

We are doing what is right and prudent. But really, don't you just love surprises? Apr. 17th you too can see whats under the tree
On the other hand, if by some miracle ALPA pulls the election out of its collective rear end, then what's the point?

How long do you think the TA is going to last after the election? Either party could walk away from it in the summer of '06. Therefore, I see a renegotiation on the horizon that does not violate the USAPA C&BL's at the very least.

The small percentage of those westies who might actually see the advantage of an independent union will likely vote USAPA anyway fully accepting the reasons for the privacy of those PHX and LAS reps for now.

Keep up the BS campaign fellows. You really aren't hiding identities because I believe there are no names to fill the slots of LAS and PHX reps at this time. How about we just go back to TBD nycbusdriver.
