AA and Labor Negotiations-2020

Would like to have those things too, more pay, but the language that has come out and what hasn't come out isn't even considered. EVERYTHING, is going to change and people are stuck on $3K and someone else's medical.

This gets voted in and next year we'll hear the chants about being lied to with the PS, because they payout won't be in Delta territory.

All the language changes, especially for the TWU.

It will be mind boggling. Then everyone will see why they didn't want the Presidents anywhere near those rooms.
What's truly mind boggling is how the TWU leadership (Peterson, Garcia) and all the others folded like a cheap ass tent.

Haven't heard from this guy yet about what he thinks of the agreement.

The actual point here is escaping many of you.
Those that make up the Association cannot remove Samuelson.
It takes a Convention vote and TWU Local 100 controls the Convention.
Samuelson is a Track Layer and Local 100 is Ground Transportation yet they control
the Air Transport Division of the TWU .

So give us the details of this ILC if it’s so great. Besides the “time share” sales pitch to get your wallet out what’s in it???
I’m a no vote without retro. The bullet points won’t overturn that. If there are some fantastic perks built into the body of this thing to change my opinion to yes I’m willing to listen though.
Like a poster quoted Pelosi earlier, “we have to vote for it so we can see what’s in it”. Bullshit.

I never said this was ILC..
This contract will get voted in. Regardless the fine print..people are going to vote the bullet points..
Sign a card and lets get out of this association lead by a bunch of idiots..

something like this would definitely get 'no' votes. sounds like another operational flop from lus mngt.

700 clerks will line up at the manning office to get their daily assignments. right.

Sounds like a Wildcat Strike which your union cannot allow.

SWAMT you sure have a lot to say for someone that don’t work for AA. I understand that you want AMFA to grow but why don’t you worry more about stuff that concerns you. I was not even talking to you and you still felt the need to comment. I like I told you before. When we do get AMFA. We will take over and it won’t be ran by a bunch of disgruntled divorced guys. Maybe we will even bring a little color to the table. Unlike USAir. American Airlines has all colors working as Mechanics.

Whether you like it or not swamt is my guest on our board, we can take this to the moderators...

I'm for amfa but this swamt has to move on. Needs to get a life .....just my observation

Hey Buck, just hit the ignore button... I did.

These TWU/IAM Association TROLLS come on here and try to run off swamt because he is correct and it hurts their feelings.
When the Mechanics at AA leave, most of those in union positions will either lose them or have to fight for them.
Where has AviationJunkie been, they come on here and just joined the board because a Southwest Mechanic is causing them grief.

My opinion on swamt, stfu already, there’s another page on here for amfa. Go there and post all you want, this is the negotiations page.

The recent announcement of a possible company early out offer is of interest and reminded me of the (VEOP) Voluntary Early Out Program as listed on an IAM proposal dated July 2014 for M&R. Basically, if you were eligible you would get a lump sum of $22,500.00 plus up to 15 weeks severance pay. Company would decide when, where, and how many would be eligible. Reference : District Lodge 142 File: USA-18. Anyone have any ideas of what a company early out might look like now?

I can’t speak for AA, but at NWA, our CBA had language that allowed for 100 early outs a year. If awarded one, you were definitely going, but the company had some say on when. They were in seniority order, but I remember some really junior dates being in the lists.

So now Southwest has a better contract or what. Why would you want to get rid of the information?
