AA and Labor Negotiations-2020

I stand corrected...was this a result of your last contract?...at one time I think $2.09 was the highest for quite awhile.
No prob Filter. Just like to keep it real for all to compare if they really do have ILC numbers.
We been at 6% above since AMFA came in over 10 years back. Around 03-04 years I believe, maybe a bit later, just say mid 2000's to be safe.

Its not ILC. Its still seperate both laa n lus. Dl plus 7 is lost. Dl n ua will jump ahead in pay n other areas before long
Again. How do we fix it?? Send the ASS back in to negotiate, what leverage do we have to make the company give us more? I don't think we are even negotiating with the company anymore, the company pushed a pile of money into the middle of the table and said divide it up any way you want. So if it goes back it's just going to be a rearrangement of what is on the table now.

it real simple how and why sito runs the show. the iam has equal veto power over anything that comes to a vote. meaning it doesnt matter if hey are chai/vice chair sito can sit there and just say no until he gets what he wants. hence the iam contract modified where laa employees are actually and officially marked as second class members. and in 5 years if the association stays we go thru it all ovar again

That's it in a nutshell. Hence why I've said many times that this ASS group was created to wipe out the democratic process for AAers. And here you have it! Until AAers can detach themselves from the Sopranos aka IAM this will continue. And the TWU should be ashamed of themselves

An ILC would have TOS around SWA. Tough language. Scope enhancements. Better medical coverage. If its turned down they should be able to narrow down areas for improvement. Over nxt few weeks theyre going to negotiate language n put together this T/A and as we been told each n everyone of us is going to or suppose to receive copy in mail. How true that is is anyone guess. Road show starts Tues at least in DCA whereas some of the group leaders are due to speak to us.

If you go to the TWU-IAM Association website the last update has the workgroup
Highlights except for Fleet, theirs has Final Draft and makes me wonder if they had theirs done months ago and what the other groups had to bargain for and what items were carved up to appease the remaining title groups.

Maybe the Fleet negotiators were just better at putting it on paper. Who knows?

Actually the company wanted to bring this to a vote almost a year ago to test the waters. If it failed they never said that’s it no more talks. The ASS had a different agenda so here we are almost a year later looking at the same **** we could have voted on last year.

As a LAA amt I’m curious how the LUS folks feel about the IAMPF? Would you guys rather have 9% 401 contribution or the aip formula that splits it up?

TWU = Totally Worthless Union.

Covered both dysfunctional unions.
Just want to go on record I'm not bias to either union in the association.

The entire TWU is especially in NYC is dysfunctional

Personally I like the combination. Social Security in theory might fold. The pension might fold. My 401(k) could tank. I like having all three; they'll probably all be around, but I have two other sources of income if one collapses.

Is there any justifiable logic for the lack of parity between LAA and LUS medical insurance? Is there anyone out there that can explain reason for this disparity?

Not a hard decision for me to vote NO on this.

Sign a fricken card already! WTF

The iam owns the association. The have equal veto power. If they dont like it, it doesn't go forward
