2015 Fleet Service thread

BTW Kev to point out yet again that contract is now dust in the wind.

Move forward bro, move forward.

I had to go up and get a coffee but I wanted to get back to this craft killing business. Again the only place that we can see a decimation, a wholesale slaughter for the jobs we do is at Delta Airlines. Delta ramp has no members because they have no union and no contract.

Anderson could come out tomorrow and say that he intends to outsource to a vendor the ENTIRE ramp operation and replace them with $12.00 per hour people. It would take a little while for that to get up and running but in the end there would be nothing those loyal "employees" could do about it.

Now imagine that were to happen and how we who are organized under contract would face arguing against that competition to the AA and UAL numbers pushers.

I'd say having a crappy contract as two individuals on this thread (Who don't work at UAL BTW) like to call it, is BEYOND better than having zip, squat, nadda, nothing.

There's where I see the potential for craft killing.

Dude, you have multiple personalities. Your other person asked Kev a question and now you are telling kev to move frwd. lol. BTW, im thankful that the cwa didnt subscribe to your management strawmen. The LAA passenger service didnt even have a contract but they resisted signing over a klemm 90 day mini contract.

Too late for you too Tim. They shut you down and out.

Go make another Laundry video.

Kevin,

What is the underlying issue you have with 141?

They saw problems and UA was open to fixing them in a limited way and improve the QOL issues and protections kudos to 141 and Oscar.

Is it because of your frustration with them basically pulling the plug on the ramp campaign and putting more resources into the DL FA and the B6 ramp drives?

Those groups are sending in cards and have support among their peers and the IAM, your group on the ramp are not signing cards and arent even near the 35% that the IAM would like to see so they would put money and effort into the ramp.

You dont know what happened at UA, you werent in the room at all, neither was I, but I know many UA IAM reps, and UA rampers, the deal was bad, but they had the CO no protection issue.

And your new buddy Tim was one of the driving forces in social media that led to the voting down of TA1 and the result was TA2, but yet I dont see you calling him out on this issue.

Bottom line is the CBA sucked, and the members voted in it, but the guys at the table didnt make it pass or fail, that is the members.

And to Tim, guess you didnt read the CWA CBA in regards to them shifting Agents jobs into lower paying CARS doing the same work?

You always cherry pick and dont tell the whole story

Yes and he was making sure everyone knew how tasty (that one) was. I don't think he got his ad money though cause he was supposed to highlight the label more.

Not too much of a choice if the company essentially has the ability of getting rid of a decent portion of the workforce because one group brought no money to the wedding. The groom got stuck with the debt in that relationship.

What the two objectors who have nothing to do with UAL want to ignore and brush off as inconsequential.

Ignore-ance is bliss or sets the agenda.

Kev is a very level headed guy and independent of me. Btw ta1 and ta2 were a total disaster. I didnt have to be at the table to know that ta1 was a disaster so i inserted myself into the negotiation process that led to ta2. Ta2 was another klemm disaster but nonetheless slightly better than ta1 and we secured an additional .70 cents for LAA and LUS when i deflated ta1. Thank God i didnt listen to you and stand down. Because I didnt, I was able to negotiate and stuff a few thousand dollars more in each LAA and LUS pockets.

You guys still lying to the stews? If you ever file, there is a plan where i will fully engage myself and root out all the iam lies through "various" outlets.

Btw, why would a jetblue person sign an iam card? Did you tell them how the twu destroyed the careers of 800 frontier workers after they organized them and provoked management to contract out all jobs? Diid you tell jetblue cuz that the iam organized spirit and promptly agreed with spirit management to contract out all spirit stations other than fll?

Kindly tell us what would happen to the jetblue ramp if the iam organizes them but management decides to just contract them all out? The jetblue peeps wanna know.

regards,

Well let's see. The last time I checked this is an AA Fleet thread? Maybe we can ignore the chatter now and get back to AA Fleet issues instead of the distractions?

Our negotiators are back in the room with the company this week. I wonder how many more TA's they get?

my guess is 4. Negotiations are moving quicker than normal, so looking good.

Anyone else want to chat? Anyone? I'm sending out feelers? Looking for sane people to converse with.

No need to take a number (or make any weird videos either)

I wonder how many more before  he became totally incoherent that would have been funny and got a thumbs up from me. Weez did you look at the earnings call yet I'm interested in your opinion it's only like 3 minutes.
