20% will run out the door and not even think about that, unfortunately.Worldport said:I think they might have to somehow pay some of the medical which I doubt
I don't think passenger service is getting too many bites with their latest buyout. To me the only way you would take it is if you were already leaving. The purpose of this buyout should be to get rid of the cynical employee, of course they can't say thatWeAAsles said:20% will run out the door and not even think about that, unfortunately.
Did you already forget how many bolted for a lousy 33k? (Before taxes)
With Family leave don't you have to exhaust your vacation before getting to sick time? To me family leave is a great idea however it is wildly(widely) abusedrobbedagain said:orgac in my station weve got a large number of folks being forced to either give up or pay back vacation weeks I cannot even begin to tell you how angry they are I even got nailed where I am told I owe company money even though I have not been out Used FMLA from time to time and had plenty hrs etc but personally I think its our admin clerk screwing up as usual But seeing how some of your bros and sisters in your station too something crazy is up another fine example of the company's disrespect for the hard working employees
We currently at LAA side accumulate our vacation throughout the year so you won't have to (ugh) pay the company back.robbedagain said:orgac in my station weve got a large number of folks being forced to either give up or pay back vacation weeks I cannot even begin to tell you how angry they are I even got nailed where I am told I owe company money even though I have not been out Used FMLA from time to time and had plenty hrs etc but personally I think its our admin clerk screwing up as usual But seeing how some of your bros and sisters in your station too something crazy is up another fine example of the company's disrespect for the hard working employees
If you took off the whole month of January wouldn't you use it before you accrue it?WeAAsles said:We currently at LAA side accumulate our vacation throughout the year so you won't have to (ugh) pay the company back.
I have a feeling we're going to wind up with your way since I think they do that with management and maybe the agents as well?
Anyone feel like checking that agent contract again?
In stations that the company is just going to send to UGS in 2 years.700UW said:
I'm sure it is written in black and white somewhere and since it is the law of the land the company has to abide by it. It should be something the union could help you with. If you find out one way or the other it should ease you stress and make a difficult situation little bit easierrobbedagain said:Worldport I know the initial FMLA for family caregiver is supposed to be unpaid and would start with 480hrs depending on the individual However at least in my station Ive gotten paid for some of those despite taking my 4 weeks vacation I have brought it to mgmt attention repeatedly but that like talking to brick walls I agree that some peeps do abuse it Im not one of them bec I have it for my special needs son and its well documented
I and a number of my fellow coworkers think the admin clerk is f..k. people over I know 2 folks who were out for a few months and took their vac and they owe the company back money it all sucks as far as I'm concerned its just another disrespect by the mgmt. and employees
The system is Chinese to me. But if we went with it then don't they own me now the vacation I didn't get the first year I worked? Or was that 2 weeks? 21 years is a long time ago for my noggin sometimes.Worldport said:If you took off the whole month of January wouldn't you use it before you accrue it?
Alcohol has probably done a number on my brain cells but I definitely got a vacation my first year I was living up north and actually drove to DaytonaWeAAsles said:The system is Chinese to me. Just hope I'm never out for an extended period of time then. Paying back a few weeks can get pretty expensive.
