Wow, you totally missed the point. They Shouldn't be here. They can donate to who they want, but do it from the the bottom of the west list. Not from a East 330 position.

And you really believe that load of BS?
Scary, is the only way I can describe some of you. Like you've been taking lessons from Crimi...

Don't mock what you don't know, things might be coming out that might even surprise you.

So What?, what about the pilots that would use their DOH in PHX, OBTW there are 2 on the 330 in PHL using their AWE DOH, ! The other 8 in CLT! On a EAST List!

If I was a west pilot I would be pi$$ed. How many west pilots would want to be flying wide bodies way senior to them? They make more money then the most senior west F/O.

Five year olds playing any game do that. Grammer school kids figure out the basics for that behavior. Are you folks "Smarter Than a 5th Grader"?

It is spelled "grammar", Even 5th graders know how to spell it.

I assume the pilot came back from furlough and accepted an east position.  Does that pilot bid his/her west DOH, or bid based on a "new hire" to the east list?

Either way, the pilot is entitled to spend his/her money in whatever way seems most personally appropriate.

Also, this pilot is the personification of the east argument that east attrition was/is valuable.

NYC I agree except they are bidding with their  AWE DOH and are on Both lists EAST and WEST with their WEST DOH, my argument being they should have gone back WEST after the Furlough recall was over ! Their number on an EAST list is not predicated recall bottom of the stack pay etc, why can't I take my DOH EAST! If they were placed at the bottom of the EAST list and chose to stay , fine, but it is not the case! Deal brokered by none other than who?

Parrella.  She argued and got them to have their AWE DOH rather than have them placed on the list junior to new hires brought in before.

Asked and answered.  I agree with you that until the list issue was resolved they were junior to pilots hired East before them but to no avail.

Well, I think that this former-AWE pilot is entitled to his AWE DOH.  Excuse me, but isn't that EXACTLY what USAPA preached from the day it became bargaining agent, and had enshrined in its C&B-Ls?

When a pilot working under the east contract gets a bid, that position belongs to that pilot until another position is bid and awarded, or until that pilot is displaced.  That's how it always has worked.  Period.

This former-AWE pilot on the A330 is the personification of everything USAPA fought for, and anyone who thinks it should be otherwise is merely looking to be vindictive, rather than willing to uphold contractual rights and the rights of pilots as union members.

We scream for nearly ten years that the AWE pilots should be onboard with their DOH.  Now, it's inconvenient to our sensibilities?  Really?  Time to get a clue.

Vindictiveness.  Yes, there seems to be a lot of that going around.....for about the last ten years, I believe.

If I recall, the term "scab" seems to still be alive and well....behind many of the pilots backs, I might add.

NYC, what part did I said I agree with you did you not understand, It should work in the oppsite direction also! Until it does it brings up multiple problems ie, status , category, relative position, you have 10 WEST pilots on each list with a single DOH, where there should be 4500 pilots with. Clueless is it is not acceptable to both sides ,!

It goes against the premise of separate operations, and the arbitrators ruling in TA-9 or -10. Separate lists until we had a JCBA, which we never got.
