I am content with what I presently have. I am content with the MOU rates. With these profits, we should give nothing unless it is equal for amounts above Delta's total compensation. The company wants us to take the bone! They cannot be trusted. They would not even pay the 3 percent! They want this bad. Ask yourself, why!!!!

Agreed. Why anyone is even willing to consider ANY continued concessions, much less additional ones is nothing short of mind-numbing. That some see no further than hourly pay rates, without even giving the slightest thought to quality of life issues equally so...

If someone tells me that Parker is offering to pay nearly 20 times the value for the concessions he wants from us, that person is a dum_bass about Parker and Glass.

To say the very least.

But I still don't understand why anyone is willing to sell 7 industry standard concessions and not get one industry standard improvement in return, with the company making $7B+ in one year.

"with the company making $7B+ in one year." It really is nothing short of amazing that even the very word "concessions" isn't laughed out of town. Well, perhaps amazing's not the right term. Pathetic is more likely appropriate.

John is an MBA wannabe.  He idolizes those who call themselves businessmen and desperately wants two things: more money and to be a
suit wearer on a regular basis.  He is so blinded by these desires that he can't see the used car salesman in the mirror.  '.
Owens is a loser. Known that guy for over 25 years. He is like Munn - ready to bend over an suck any dk for ***** change.

Looks like a group 2 captain that gets 1000 pay hours per year will gain about 91,000 by going with the current offer, that assuming the Delta pilots do not get a pay raise, nada, which is very unlikely. What do they have to give up to get that raise? They may have to pay a hefty amount of taxes on their health care. Let's say 4k per year. Some may not be able to upgrade because of the reserve rules. New upgrades lost because we keep a common domestic and international list. Loss of captain positions on the aa side. Some of them could eventually displace east pilots, depending on the new seniority list.

The MOU with the possibility of raises depending on Delta, and not giving up anything, is far better than giving in to the wants of the company.

What's more important to you? $ are not as high on my list as are for some folks. They say anything can be had for a price, but to me, their offer is not high enough for what I would have to give up. I don't think the BOD will accept the offer without letting the pilots vote. Think the company will hold to their word about the Jan. deadline? Perhaps!

If the pilot group gets to vote this will pass just as LOA93 and the MOU did without question.

For every acre of the family farm that is sold, is one that you will never get back. To sell it cheap while making insane profits, is itself, insane.

That's perfectly put.

I think you have to remember what a good hearted and charitable pilot group we are, if the company needs something we are here to help out, I was expecting a little more from the APA. Should be interesting next week.

Yes, in spite of the obstructionist minority, who, if they had their way, would have us LOA 93 to this day with no merger and no future.

Wait till PBS builds lines full of 30 hour breaks at the Days Inn on never ending domestic trips, and 36 hour breaks on the two pilot international trips across the pond.

Line holders will be lucky to get the 12 days off a month that a reserve gets.

Don't worry, you spend the fortune you get by shopping on Amazon.com during the 30 hour layovers!!!!!

How does that change if we go to arbitration?
