"in the works" .. That sounds about right.   There is a short list of influential people who are politically torpedoing the BOD and speaking out of turn in public.  All draped with the flag, of course.

But I still don't understand why anyone is willing to sell 7 industry standard concessions and not get one industry standard improvement in return, with the company making $7B+ in one year.  Doug told he was going to make $1B a year, and folks still go to bat for all his crew news propaganda...
$7B+ in one year.

I prefer to write it like this;  $7,000,000,000. In one year. 1 year.

I very much doubt it, but since the suckers seem to have the ability to look at a single number with a dollar sign and nothing else, just maybe they'll understand just how much $7B is when it's not abbreviated.

For the suckers that can't count that high, or who's attention wanders after the third digit of the payrate, let me put that in context;

If you get $1,000,000 per year, that's 1 million or $1M, you will need to get it for 7,000 years, that's 7K years to get $7B.

And the suckers are giving concessions for a payraise they are already getting with the status-quo. Wow. Suckers.

Disappointed? Again? I don't recall being disappointed already that I can be disappointed again. Maybe you're confusing me with someone else who was previously disappointed and may now, once again, be disappointed in the near future.

It is what it is, and it is indeed in the works. I won't even be surprised, again or for the first time, when the bullet point non-contract gets about a 70% 'Yes' vote. As P.T.Barnum is said to have said, "there's a sucker born every minute". That makes for plenty of 'Yes' votes. Jerrold Glass has had a lucrative career based on it. Suckers.

"The Love of Money" is a useful tool in the hands of a skilled manipulator..  (inside or outside of the "union").

I just wish for once "The Love of a Calendar Off" at home (instead of the Comfort Inn) could be a communicable disease.   :D

I am content with what I presently have. I am content with the MOU rates. With these profits, we should give nothing unless it is equal for amounts above Delta's total compensation. The company wants us to take the bone! They cannot be trusted. They would not even pay the 3 percent! They want this bad. Ask yourself, why!!!!

Parker lied about making $1B a year in synergies.  By the amendable date Parker will be the first airline to break $10,000,000,000.00 in one year.  And we will have over 1,000 grievances over a bullet point napkin contact.

Don't go cheap for the Purple TuTu.  :D

Joint CLT, PHL, DCA USAPA Update

We are your Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Washington USAPA Board of Pilot Representatives. Because USAPA exists almost exclusively to represent the interests of our pilots during the seniority integration process we have chosen to keep a low profile and allow you to receive updates directly from the Merger Committee. However, on Christmas Eve USAPA emailed a Business Intelligence Committee update to US Airways legacy pilots that we want to address personally.

We feel that the Business Intelligence update was written with bad judgment, was an inappropriate use of USAPAs communication system and committee structure, and was an attempt to meddle in the collective bargaining process by advancing the views of a select few within USAPA leadership. The BPR did not task the Business Intelligence Committee to update the pilots, nor was the Board notified that such an update was being produced. In addition, the USAPA Officers had recently informed the BPR that only very select USAPA committees were active anymore and Business Intelligence was not on the list.

USAPA is no longer the Collective Bargaining Agent for US Airways pilots. We feel strongly that it is our responsibility to respect the APAs role as our new bargaining agent and focus on USAPAs duty to represent you during the seniority integration process.

Right on. This is the same crowd that falls for the..." But wait!!! If you call in the next ten minutes we throw in the Connie Sellica hand warmers !!"
Meanwhile, Barron's and the street puts a 75 handle on the stock as the p/e actually drops forward looking. Amazing.

For the record "GREEN BOOK", from me the compass correction are out for damage control , their agenda money now I am gone , and protect my secret handshakes soon to be exposed! Now OWENS credentials are what?
There are some very interesting letters out there just waiting..........

Do you think the pilots could ever turn down any offer? They practically fell over themselves to vote for a pay cut without a time limit called LOA 93. And then the west pilots spanked them with it for years. east pilots actually gave the west pilots profit sharing while on LOA 93. The east pilots allowed the formation of Republic with LOA 93 and put hundreds of their own on the street. Remember when those MESA 90 seaters showed on the CLT odd low number gates? east pilot jaws hit the ramp. east pilots are capable of anything. west profit sharing while east pilots made lower wages..... Ciabattoni truly is an idiot for that idea.
Unbelievable.
Why did he try to get Billy Wilder removed at the 9 th hour???
He sure likes Koontz.
Glass baited the hook. His big bonus says you take the Jan 3 date.

. Well yes there are actually Dave ciabatoni wanted the merger committe and Wilder removed just weeks before there great performance in the arbitration but some how if you go to the usa pa website and look under the litigation library in the appeals bord section somehow Dave's letter is omitted! why? Maybe his affiliations should be questioned!

http://aviationblog.dallasnews.com/2014/12/apa-schedules-a-jan-2-board-meeting-to-discuss-american-airlines-contract-action.html/                                                                                                                                                                 Just to be clear, the company said they gave APA the final offer and they can accept by January 3rd or they go to arbitration. Somehow that's a bluff?
east pilots will fall for every Glass timeline. I bet he gets a bonus if you take that date. Money on it.

Why did Ciabattoni arrange for west pilots to receive profit sharing when they had none in their contract? Even while east pilots were paid lower wages? Ask Dave why. And when you see Eric Ferguson, ask him why he passed on the Nicolau list years ago. Eric had two major gifts offered. He only took one.
Perhaps those who seek elected union positions really are not too intelligent after all.

Most know Ciabattoni was working with the west to help them get the NIC here among other things, he can't be trusted more will be coming out.

The APA must have stepped in.  The West still thinks the APA is their white knight in shining armor.
