Wait a minute. ........... I would not in ANY WAY classify it a LOA93B.  It is STILL good money no matter which way you slice it.

True, but there is a lot more to a contract then "good money". Sure sounds like everyone's is giving up already I guess someone's has to be at the bottom, maybe next time around we can get a Delta contract.

In the last contract they reduced the payout from 15% to 10% in exchange for an almost a 20% raise in a two and a half year time frame which in turn actually increased their payout.

Remember the parity review is between United and Delta.  There is a belief that the Delta contract will be settled a year from now.  From pilots I know that know the Delta pilots and have asked THEM about the contract state of affairs they said it's going to be awhile and in any case I do not believe new contract rates will be available by 01Jan2016.  Their contract is good until the end of 2015 and secondly it will go to arbitration (again) because even IF they have a contract by the end of next year the company has stated in the contract:

e. On or before July 1, 2015 , the parties will meet and confer for a period of up to 30 days to
attempt to achieve a voluntary agreement for an Industry Comparable Pay Rate

Adjustment.
If by August 1, 2015, the parties are unable to achieve a voluntary
agreement on an Industry Comparable Pay Rate Adjustment (calculated according to

subsections a., b., and c. above, and subject to subsection d. above), they will submit the

issue of an Industry Comparable Pay Rate Adjustment to interest arbitration under the

procedures of Section 7 of the Railway Labor Act.

(1) The parties will agree on or before August 1, 2015 to the appointment of three neutral

arbitrators, to include Richard Bloch, if available, as the principal neutral. Failing

agreement on the appointment of three neutral arbitrators on or before DOS + 31

months, the parties will request the National Mediation Board to appoint a panel of

three neutral arbitrators (to include Richard Bloch, if available, as the principal

neutral), who are members of the National Academy of Arbitrators.

(2) To facilitate the interest arbitration, the parties may enter an interest arbitration

agreement setting forth ground rules for the interest arbitration. In the absence of

such interest arbitration agreement, the interest arbitration will be conducted

according to the provisions of this Agreement and whatever ground rules the panel

deems appropriate.

(3) The parties will share equally all costs of interest arbitration.

(4) The interest arbitration will begin on or before September 1, 2015 and a hearing will

be concluded and a decision issued on or before December 1, 2015.

So you guys may want to read the fine print!!

More fine print....The language also states Pay rates, and a word search shows that "basic" pay rates appears in that document 16 times. It will not be a comparison between [Delta pay rates + profit sharing] as the basis. Just Delta pay rates alone. It is also unlikely that United will have a contract at that time. So it will likely be the current United Rates.

At least the MOU has fine print!

The Bar Napkin Contract is written with invisible ink.

My bottom line shows sticking with the MOU and arbitration. Why would the company ever offer something unless they thought they were pulling one over on us. We know how this bunch works! Their offer is less for the long run. They are one slick bunch!

Amen. DUI is betting he can scare and manipulate pilots into giving away more in rushed negotions with manufactured deadlines and ultimatums.. More than he could ever steal in cost neutral arbitration, that would require an arbitrator to lie, steal, and cheat with him.

I'm sure that has never happened before. After our last arbitration I wonder. He has already proven time and again he can scare and manipulate pilots very well, so for me I'm kind of skeptical

Plain and simple, Jerry Glass is offering a personal payoff to anyone who will accept concessions that will affect others(but not themselves).

Anyone who opposes Jerry's payoff simply knows the concessions cost them more than the payoff. They oppose the payoff because it is a net loss to them, and the opposite holds true.. Those who support it think it will be a net gain...

Jerry Glass has pilots arguing about the value of concessions...

"If they ask the wrong questions, you never have to provide answers."

$4B and we are arguing over the value of concessions...

Neither does APA. Looks like both sides agree that a negotiated settlement is best all around. As long as they are talking/negotiating, I see it as positive.

The last meet for greed did them in. It is said Marty finally came clean and told them the Nic was DOA and DOH was the order of the day. That was an incredible run for Polsinelli and Marty. They stole millions and the west got zip.
