Bummer. Okay thanks. Just for my edification, what I meant was does the card drive and subsequent election delay the JCBA arbitration until the election results are in?
What card drive?

These are hypothetical questions. So would a hypothetical card drive delay the JCBA arbitration which now appears inevitable?

You should know this.
Does a change in bargaining agents automatically trigger Section 6 negotiations?
Does a card drive and subsequent representational election take precedence over arbitration?
Is the wooden card box still available and will it hold 15,000 cards? :)

The wooden box and the white van are supposedly relics enshrined in the Carolina's Air Museum.
It was no easy feat retrieving the white van after Cat 3 Productions seized it and took it to PHX for the filming of Black Top Pests.

But you have to work the numbers in value for ALL the pilots from BOTH PERIODS and compare their values side by side.

Secondly, that extra year will give us more time to bring the pilots together.  Many say we ARE together.  You mean, like we said at.....ALPA?  Like we said at......USAPA?  Like we said......I think you get the point.
It is pointless to banter back and forth about the value of something "promised" by management that is so grossly undefined. We all know this slick fox will give one scoop with his left hand while he is taking away two scoops with his right, and meanwhile as he distracts everyone he has another three goons rushing out the back door lifting your new 60" flat screen.

We know the evil of this offer is the fact we will be in perpetual negotiations to fill in all the wholes, giving something more every time we want something defined.

Pick your poison.

Low mileage, fresh paint, no Nics.

Fellow Washington Pilots,

The company has passed us their proposal without the 5-seat scope change. This pass is with the threat that if we can’t work within the terms of their remaining 7 items, they will call for arbitration. The company proposal (including the now withdrawn scope change) is on the APA webs site.
In the 11/17/14 “DFW Crew News” video posted on JetNet, Scott Kirby stated, “Delta is the target force to shoot for right now”.
Regarding profit sharing, Doug Parker stated, “it's just not the right way to pay 100,000 employees that don't have that much impact on the daily profits".
Parker and Kirby refuse to give you industry standard compensation.
Parker and Kirby clearly aren’t interested in investing in you or motivating you.
Investing in pilots is unnecessary?
DAL management is investing in their pilots.
DAL is incentivizing its pilots to win.
Parker and Kirby think YOU are worth less.
Parker and Kirby say that you aren’t worth as much as:
a DAL pilot,
a UAL pilot,
a SWA pilot,
a UPS pilot or
a FedEx pilot.

Welcome to the new AAL culture,

This pilot groups knows this that's why we will take any low ball offer I bet, the company has done a great job of managing your expectations, just look at all that voted for the MOU.

For a grp 2 blockholder @85 hrs/mo. from December 2014 to December 2020 under the proposal you will have 102,531 more dollars (88k + 14k) in the bank and DC fund.
Because of the earlier start of the pay raise you are getting 3% raises on larger sums earlier, all the while getting an additional 16% on the larger sum.
Take the money.

Here is why you will never get a Delta contract.

We will never get a Delta contract without being in Section 6 negotiations.  There is no effective leverage for the pilots in this JCBA process.  Either the company will give it to us, or not.  And it appears not.

Come back with the "Rah, Rah" bulls*** on the amendable date.

Nyc bus..
You know im a big fan even if we dont see eye to eye on this one... but garbage like that post that luv was referencing.. really dont help..

My son chopped up the "white van" last fall and scrapped it!  I just remembered!  No, really!  It just dawned on me I drove the wife's mini-van up to Herndon and brought back guys that couldn't get to the airport and a jumpseat that day for the ALPA "walk-a-thon" and I had totally forgotten about that.  How funny!!

Look, I think you know me well enough here so I'll just say it:  this is ONE we have to accept because a lot of cash is left behind on the table.  Really.  They don't owe us anything except the MOU so let's just think it through.  I think the BOD is FLAT OUT WRONG. We have to live to fight another day.  No really, this isn't section 6 and everyone really needs to stow the "full pay to last day" mentality and think this through.  You will NOT be a "weak sister" for using your brain over your brawn.

Could you possibly locate the van pieces? We could have commemorative pins made of it. Perhaps in the shape of a N with a slash across it, or APA lapel pins. Any ideas?
