You're a laugh a minute. The West was hiring in 2005 when your airline had a third of your pilots on furlough. Parker should have let you go out of business and picked up the pieces. Then you could have to sent an application and gone to the bottom, if you could have gotten hired..

Parker has stated this several times but the West are just going to believe what they want to believe.  Here Snap's ignorance may just be feigned and instead he just wishes to pick a fight with statements that have no basis in fact.

In all due "respect" to "cap'n aux"; we've missed some obvious lines. = "Hey dinosaur! What's with just the reading glasses?  Don't cha' know that 'Real Pilots' always sport lanyards, dazzling ID tags and a shoulder-strapped purse to air shows!?" I'll bet you'se don't even have any Integrity matters or dire wolf T-shirts!...And you don't even have your hands on your hips, trying desperately to strike an heroic pose! How is it possible, as there never was ever a bid allowing East to bid West?  Perhaps you are living in some fantasy world?

We all know the world never changes in any way over the course of a decade, after all, or sometimes a day, a minute or even a few seconds...Consider just the '"career expectations" of so many millions in early 1939, versus the reality that soon followed.

Indeed. What we really need more of in this world are whole oceans of nonsensical "expectations" and enough arbitrators to magically make them all come true for everyone, in which case we'd all be enjoying a true utopia, too busy riding unicorns under rainbows to have enough time to utter so much as a harsh word to one another.   Well...Human nature being what it actually is though..there'd have to a whole lot of magical shamans/arbitrators to ensure universal bliss, since "some" would otherwise find themselves arguing over who "deserves" the best unicorns and get to be first to ride under the rainbows. Silly notions like personal principles/ethics and do unto others as you would have them do unto you be damned.  After all; "This is sparta!"...and even so much as a cute T-shirt can apparently render one "righteous"...

Name ONE East pilot who "upgraded" to a West Captains job! Personally, I would consider any job in PHX to be a "downgrade". If anything has been "stolen" it's the East flying that's being done by the West, without which, there would be several hundred more HP furloughs as we speak.

It just goes with the whole "varsity letter jacket"/"I was the bully"/This is sparta!"/"army"/"knights"/"soldiers"/etc childish Fantasyland nonsense. It's a given that any who live their lives wallowing in "expectations" have precious little contact with reality.

Of course, Phoenix would be a downgrade when you install an East union, East management team and East pilots in charge of the training department. It's no wonder that Charlotte and Philly would expand.....Duh

We've already had one of your guys accept a "promotion" to Envoy.

I expect more downgrades in the future for the East at AA.

I'm looking forward to a real union that doesn't have a layover in a hotel I would not have my family spend the night. You know, a real airline with a real union. Not an airway which goes for the bedbug....USAPA inn?

The APA, I get a lot more for a lot less.

AA crews have already started using US layover hotels in some cities.  MAD, for example.
 
But you never have to worry about going to MAD now, do you?
 
Oh, BTW....the US Hotel Committee Chair is a westie.
