Read my posts again. I'm not negotiating, I threw in some thoughts along with my main point of disputing luvthe9's little girl hysterical act that ignores the facts. I don't have any comprehensive "proposal". Guys throwing out stuff like 5-10 year fences, DOH, ect, (including me) should consider the numbers effects. Does it screw you guys? Does it screw us? I pointed out one problem with delaying. . The facts are that it could screw the AA pilots with one tactic I mentioned. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'd bet that a 5 year fence with DOH screws the AA guys. If someone disagrees, please correct me.
Trying to reason with the unreasonable is a lesson in futility.

Correction. I don't have the exact number, but a 5 year AA attrition number is bigger than I thought. I was using 5 years starting a year or two ago. In 2019 we retire 404 which skews the number if starting a 5 year clock today. In 2018, 286. Before that we are in the low 100's. This year maybe 50?

Are you guys going to ban me for being the first guy in 787 pages of posts that admitted a mistake? 😀
In your post #9444 you reject both relative position and DOH after 5-10 years. Doesn't leave much in the way of options. Keep in mind that in our last merger the arbitrator gave our furloughed pilots zero credit. He must have borrowed your stapler 🙂 How many pilots did you have on furlough when the merger was announced? The arbitrator used our bankruptcy to further dilute our position. Granted, you were in no risk of liquidation, but absent the merger you would have emerged smaller, with more pilots on furlough, never to catch up with DAL and UAL.

Arbitration is like a box of chocolates.

Honestly, although I think they both methods would the AA side but that's just a hunch. I think both of us really don't know the numbers. I don't know if DOH or relative might screw your guys. If that is the case, I wouldn't support it. Everyone is arguing about the new house and we still haven't even seen the preliminary blueprints.

I think the positive thing is the retirements on both sides mitigating the "synergies".

In the end, if there is any major pullback of operations that has us fighting for jobs like AA's history of buying carriers, I'll be brushing up on my Mandarin because this place will be another TWA/Pan Am/Eastern and die.

Here's an idea. Separate operations until our sun goes supernova. Each group benefits from its own attrition, furloughs from its own group, you get to protect your existing widebodies till they are scrapped. The MOU has a sunset on protections, 18 months from a certain date which I don't recall at the moment. Absent a force majeure event, extend those protections until all the wood in all the forests is petrified. QED.

Dosent the west claim there is only one list? So, according to them why do they deserve a seat, no seperate list....
What is it traitor? Having it both was again?
Wait a minute he will have to confer with Chippy before he gets back to you, you have dumb and dumber.

But we want the sunblock and petrified forest souvenir concession 😉

Somehow we need to get to one list and one group.

What planet do you live on?
Whats your problem with keeping this separate for as long as possible, wait a minute answer is you won't see your fellow coworkers screwed which we know you would love to see.

Do they have Starbucks there because I know because I know 84 is a fan?
I'm pretty sure there is STARbucks out there somewhere. They are on every corner of planet earth 😉

News flash. USAPIA is also the third rock from the sun and the only place in this part of the galaxy where Starbucks is served.

ALPA failed to correct an award that fell far out of bounds of fairness. Of course you, the Mighty Oracle, did not serve 17 yrs never furloughed and get paired with a new hire.
Nobody respects you whatsoever. Nobody.
You and Traitor are miserable Benedict Arnolds.
What else can be said.

I always know when I step on planet Earth there is a Starbucks nearby because I get stuck in a sticky goo in the parking lot.
