Yes, Billy will finish this mess, word going around at APA is they are in no hurry to put this thing together along with USAPA we will both enjoy our respective attrition and the company is worried about it, oh well.
Why would the company care as long as the aircraft are crewed? The West have lost their fleet protections and they voted for the document that took them away. The company can do what they want with the time.

The West gladly took profit sharing at our expense when it was offered and then fought against our receiving equal pay. I have no sympathy whatsoever for them. They will keep this in court because many of them aren't smart enough to know when it became self defeating. The major attrition hasn't even started yet so let them spin their wheels another 3 or 4 years and we will have what we've been waiting for the last 25 years.

Now there is a man that gets it. Once the west refused to come up with a solution they sealed their fate. Remember all the risk is with the west quote

P.S.  It even had a pilot "vanity" mirror.  Do you know what it was REALLY for???? (stupid trivia here)
A mirror to look at another mirror so you could see the whiskey compass. It sure was a fun airplane. One you had to fly.

A pocket rocket that carried a bunch of people!

The only thing I never got quite used to was standing 3 feet from a jet engine spinning at 10,000 RPM with my pants unzipped.

the silence from some is deafening.
Their feeble minds have probably just come to grips with the reality they turned their careers over to a group of individuals having no oversight or membership edict.

I'd be asking myself : who vetted this presentation that can be used against me by an Arbitrator?

" proverbial "island" the PHX domicile has become as a result of ....willful neglect of our corporate leadership."

So, the corporations Officers having the blessing of the Board of Directors will now be overridden by a line pilot in a managerial position?

This is your thought process?

Had it come apart, it wouldn't have mattered where your zipper was!

I agree, that was my point however the company for some reason is interested in getting this thing done.

BEWARE: There seems to be a recurring problem with cockpit windows being left unlocked on some airplanes, especially in PHX. You won't notice it until takeoff, at least that seems to be the intent.

Also, there are reports of shoe polish being put on cockpit headphones. There are also switches not normally moved that are deliberately being placed in abnormal positions. In other words some strange 'practical jokes' are being played on east pilots by someone.

Check your 'six' because someone may be out to get you.

Too bad Silver disallowed any discovery on the financial workings of Leospanker.  Could it be that directing a private LLC is much more lucrative than being on FPL?  Hmmm...

Subject: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 11:58 PM U-Turn: Taking Responsibility

"According to our reports, on Day One of Wye River, Jeff Freund warned the West MEC that if USAPA won, the West risked losing everything. He urged reaching an agreement. He was gone on Day Two. We won’t address his motivation for leaving. As Jeff Freund observed in his rebuttal to the East MEC lawsuit, the NIC was not in stone. And the loss of ALPA put it in real trouble. At least ALPA had the obligation, through the ALPA Merger Policy, to attempt to get the company to use the NIC Award."

"Our former MEC and our union leadership played a very high stakes game of poker by not dealing at Wye River. Freund was right, we were risking everything…..and right now, it looks like we lost. They need to take responsibility for that."

Skeet shooting was more important, so I've heard.

Just return to the airport after TO and write it up. Management hates having a flight not be on time, or delayed. They will launch their own investigation, find that it is a job action while under an injunction, and fire the culprits. This is about as classy as sending rocks and poop in the mail. Just their juvenile mentality. Parker knows what a bunch of thugs that they are.

I think that was the only thing Sliver could do to protect the West pilots in the big picture.
