It is pathetic to pretend you don't benefit from government programs and collect an unemployment check.
It is pathetic you misrepresent me when I never said anything of the sort. Again you are a fine example of a libtard picking one word out of a paragraph and filtering the rest out. You hear what you want to hear.

I've been paying into these programs for close to 40 years...........can everyone who benefits from these programs say they've paid "ANYTHING" into these programs?
No. They can't.

So your saying Big Brother should be taking your entire check? How socialistic of you!

The issue isn't whether someone benefits from a government sponsored program. The question is, Is the Federal Program in question a role for the Federal Government?

Keep in mind the Government has no money until it confiscates yours, pools your money with other extortion victims and gives it to someone else. Further, our government does NOT issue you our currency. It's done by a PRIVATE bank that's NEVER in 100 years been fully audited and a report issued to the public.

“But let me offer you my definition of social justice: I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree? Well then tell me how much of what I earn belongs to you - and why?”

They can say they barely get by after supporting someone else's food, groceries, child care, rent, utilities, cellphone, welfare check, and healthcare while some sniveling little libtard prick like you calls them selfish and greedy.

The really funny thing is that if people knew just how small of a percentage the above mentioned programs are of the Federal Budget the tone here might be a bit different.

I'm not advocating for the programs, just pointing out there are many many bigger fish to fry in terms of government over reach.

Anyone reading your posts on this thread knows otherwise.

The problem is if you turn on certain media outlets you would think those programs were the reason for the debt.

True enough.

I think the reasons for some of the outrage (including my own at times) is that the notion of any type of "Nanny State flys directly in the face of why the USA even exists. The nation was founded upon the concept of Individual Rights taking priority over a limited government whose role at the Federal Level was to preserve Liberty,

Individual Liberty guarantees equal opportunity, however it does NOT guarantee individual outcomes. With Liberty comes accountability and responsibility.

Citizens of the Republic IMO have a moral obligation to be their fellows citizens keeper in times of need. The story of Cain and Abel comes to mind in this case.

The appropriate role of the Federal Government is to preserve Liberty, economic and civil so that each of us as Citizens of the Republic have the opportunity to become affluent enough and taxed little enough for them to fulfill the social contract,

Confiscation of wealth and redistribution of it to others is not Compassion or Charity. It's theft.

Liberals don't believe in morals. Just ask tree.
