So are you saying that the furloughed members were not notified of the openings?

Bids go up bi weekly, it the furloughed members responsiblity to call the company 800# to check on the job openings unless it is their recall station. Openings can also be viewed on the union website although it is not updated all the time. Job comes up, you phone in a bid and if you have the senority the job is yours.

Many of the displaced mechanics were reluctant to relocate due a number of reasons, I think the main one being the companys history of closing bases. Why relocate only to find out in a year you are out of a job?

I Got A $7.00 An HOUR RAISE And The Pay Freeze Removed That We Had Been Under Form 1991 Plus All The Benefits. We Got Workers And Jobs That Were Farmed Out Returned.
