I never mentioned another vote. You posted another delay if we have a vote.
OK I thought you wanted a representation vote for AMFA. Therefore stalling the negotiation progress. I guess I was wrong sorry

Has anyone ever stated that their goal was to have an intervenor with the sole intent of delaying the merger of the the two airlines?

The only entity that I can see causing any delay is the parties of the Association...

That's how the IAM did or does at USAir. Remember that IAM is running the negotiations.

Might have been on to something in waiting just a little while longer and letting some things play out?

Delta Wants Less Profit-Sharing

That’s not all that Delta wants, however. Since Delta is making big money, it wants to follow American’s lead and actually reduce profit-sharing. It thinks it’s paying out too much. To get that, however, Delta has to raise wages to make up for it.

So, on the date of signing this agreement, wages go up 8 percent. Then next January, they go up another 6 percent with 3 percent raises in both January 2017 and January 2018. The contract becomes amendable again at the end of 2018.
In other words, on January 1 of next year when the current contract would be amendable, the pilots will be paid nearly 15 percent more under this new contract.

Profit-sharing, however, will be reduced. Today, Delta pays 10 percent of profits of up to $2.5 billion on the year to pilots. (That used to be 15 percent, but it changed in the last contract.) This won’t change. But there’s another threshold where Delta pays 20 percent of profits over $2.5 billion on the year to the pilots. Now that Delta is making big money, it thinks $2.5 billion is too low. So this will move the 20 percent threshold all the way up to $6 billion in annual profit.

It's all percentages. Less percentage PS but more pay will probably balance out to the same PS payout.

Do I have to vote it in before I know what is in it?

Its my understanding that JCBA talks are to begin July 6th    supposenly the company wants to have deals in place.    theyre in a rush to get deals in place     upon ratifying an agreement we would get a 4.1% raise just like other groups got when they got the JCBAs.    This info came from union rep who visited my station recently.    I made clear to him we must grandfather in all current cities and that we shall not give up anything    but some how some way Im sure we will lose something   but what.....

No robbed,

The Joint Committee will be meeting with itself to prepare for negotiations.
