I am not in disagreement.
I was pointing out where the government may get meddlesome in trying to "fix" what they may consider to be a problem, especially if Congress gets involved and legislates changes into the relevant sections of the FAA's provisions regarding for aircraft operation.
Congress, in my view, is singularly unqualified to understand the full ramifications of any fix it makes, especially a quick fix.
Is that clear enough?
