Gloves coming off? It's not like USAPA has been holding anything back. They have no gloves to take off. I think they are just out of ammunition. Once the company's Declaratory Judgment is done, so is USAPA.

The gloves are not coming off.....the court system is putting a glove on, a rubber glove, and they are about to give usapa a digital examination.

This is going to be a big week for fans of reading legal briefs.

We already know usapa and Seham are desperate, they want the Addington plaintiffs removed from the declaratory action. They want the suit moved to a different venue. They want the suit postponed until we hear from the Supreme Court. They want, they want, they want.

I am thinking they are going to get some answeres this week, and they are not going to like them.

Go ahead and put your hands on the table usapa, this won't hurt a bit.

Another newbie with an old argument.

Once again here are the facts.

Seniorty number west pilots
1000 64
1500 111
2000 129
2500 231
3000 322
3500 573
4000 1048
4500 1252
5000 1688

As you can see that in the top 3000 positions on a DOH list only 322 west pilots. 10.7% The top 4000 west pilots only 1048 26.2%. I think you need to reconsider your definition.

Usapa DOH list would place 1500 west pilots BELOW east furloughed pilots. Only 340 west pilots would be anywhere near active pilots when this merger happened. 80% of west pilots would be STAPLED below furloughed east pilots. Check your facts do the math. Nicolau is not a staple.
This is exactly the way the list should look like....we don't have a problem.
 
I hardly see how death by toaster electrocution would be deserved by anyone due to a dispute about seniority. I also don't see how anyone could agree with such an offensive statement.

I certainly hope there are not many USAPA supporters with such radical views. A pilot with these types of morbid thoughts should not be leading a union, let alone responsible for the lives of passengers. Scary!

Yet another meltdown.

Folks, this is what has been driving our situation since 2005. If you are tired of being held hostage by these crackpots who bring nothing other than a sense of entitlement a mile deep, then now is the time to cut our losses and just move on. It comes down to accepting the Nic and getting a contract so that 1000 or so East pilots don't have to spend their remaining years on a bankruptcy contract, or letting this drag out so that the aforementioned radicals hell bent on an agenda that will never yield DOH but will allow them to get what they THINK is theirs. Either way the Nic is coming. Time is ticking. Money is being left on the table that will never be recovered.
A lot that money is mine and I am ready to retire under 93 if that what it takes to get DOH. The line is drawn.period.

Nothing will get you DOH. NOTHING. You can throw every dime you'll ever earn at it....won't happen. The West, AOL, the TA, and the Nic. are not going to go away. Ever. Get used to it or don't, it's irrelevant.

Good for you. Retire under LOA93. Then why all of the screaming for the east demanding that the west help you get a contract?

So you since everyone on here has said that they are super senior and not effected by the Nicolau you all are just supporting the junior guys. Most of you have claimed that. Sit back retire under LOA 93 and leave. All you east guys are trying to tell us how valuable the attrition is. Great. What about the guys that are the attrition? What is in it for them?

I suggest an east pilot ask Seham why he was to busy to appear in Judge Wake's courtroom on Oct 7th. No matter, delay the inevitable, rescheduled for later in the month.

Like ACARS???

Company is winning that one. Company is stealing pay from pilots EVERY day and it's all being handled out of Tempe. Cheapest labor among the majors and the company won't even pay THAT.

Neither were the expectations of AWA pilots in 2005, or at least realistic ones. Time has shown where AWA was headed absent this merger.

I am as realistic as they get.

AWA was growing
AWA had three successive quarters of profit
Had US Airways liquidated the entire industry would have benefited greatly, including AWA
Parker' move to merge with DAL would not have been rebuffed if we were little 'ole AWA

I would gladly set the clock back and take my chances on what would have happened.
