Please add up what the America West pilots made since 1983 vs what the east pilots have made over the same time period and post me in the morning with your results.

Call it what you would like but the arbitration, bottom line, did not follow ALPA guidelines. We could argue about this all the time like we have, bottom line, see you in court.

The new contract is not there because the company was asked to participate in an NMB sanctioned mediation, they declined. US Airways Rejects Pilots' Proposed NMB-Facilitated Talks.

The West pilots have been suing ever since the USAPA pilot union representing ALL USAirways pilots won a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling.

America West Pilots website.

Frankly, what would you expect of a Union that has management and sore looser former west pilots fighting you every step of the way. USAirways will decide if there is a Happy Holiday for employees and passengers, they will be the cause but act like a victim as USAirways has over the last debacle type holiday situations.
It doesn't matter what you HAD. That is in the past. Th future of this airline is now. What you had in the past contributed to the failure of your beloved airline. AWA was young. What was it; 2 ALPA contracts? Yet they were up and coming, successful if you will. Especially compared to AAA. But sure, to add up what your furloughed pilots made/lost in that same period.

Merger wasn't done by ALPA guidelines? Do tell....cant wait to hear your spin. Recreating history the Usapa way.

Ignorance is bliss back east. The East won what again? An appeal based on a case not being ripe....yet. Soon to be unquestionably ripe. You are going to lose. As soon as you realize that, the better off your and your future will be. In the meantime, Usapa spins its wheels, going nowhere, fast. Enjoy your stagnation.

Sore loser WEST pilots? Do tell....Usapa's band of AFO, downtrodden, bottom of the industry pilot group doesnt honor its agreements. Instead, they try to 'change' their name tousapa avoid it. Failed so far.

Your last statement is the best. Insert the AFO's acting as a victim. A victim of your own choices and failed decisions. Wake Up. Usapa is lying to you, manipulating your hopes and fears. Show us the East resolve with a contract to vote on. What? You cant because of the cowardly leadership you support. Look in the mirror and see the cause of your misery. Lying to yourself about the history of this merger is a short road to travel down. A dead end. Enjoy your 'fruitful' ride.

Usapa = Cleary likes his $191,000 salary fleecing the East pilots.

PSW 737

You're right , Mesa's contract is up at the end of the year, we need to return that flying back to mainline protecting our jobs and returning all furloughs back to work. With Continental working on eliminating outsourcing hopefully other airlines will follow.

You and everyone you know should be blowing up your reps' phones. 4 or 5 calls a day for a couple of weeks will have a far bigger impact than you can imagine. There is going to be a BPR meeting at the end of September so now is the time to get started.

Lets see:

Spin? Recreating history? Ignorance? Lying a dead end?

Freud would love you.

From the Sec Treas report

Q: Looking at Schedule 11 of USAPA’s latest LM2, I see the President was paid over $ 191,679 last year. Is that correct?

A: No, that figure is misleading and requires a more complete analysis to accurately understand what it represents. Neither the President nor any other Officer was paid that amount. Schedule 11 of the LM2 is by law filed to show all expenditures that were associated with any Officer of the Union. Being a National Union, all four Officers and the entire BPR are considered “Officers” since they have the ability to spend union moneys. Once a certain threshold of Flight Pay Loss (FPL) and/or expenses is reached, Committee members will also show up on the LM2 on Schedule 12.

The $ 191,679 figure reflects the President’s 85 hours of FPL (plus a 30% Benefits Override - the amount the union pays to the Company to reimburse the cost of benefits such as health care, etc. This override is paid to the Company, not to the pilot), plus all his expenses (hotel, per diem, etc,) his stipend ($1500/mo,) and any other reimbursements paid for expenses directly related to the performance of his job. For example, if the President put the cost of a meeting room for a BPR meeting on his expense report, it is included in the $191,679.00 figure.

When did your Merger Committee or MEC ever make such a statement? I don't believe they did. As always, I will remind you east posters to stop spreading lies.

You are absolutey right! At the last BPR meeting less than 10 guys showed up. I could understand the furlough guys on the west who cannot travel but there is no excuse for not calling or writting there reps, as for the furlough guys on the east less than five ever show up to a BPR meeting or get involved calling and writting there reps. Either way no one calls, no one writes there reps, all you hear is rumors and everyone's bitching and complaining. Everyone needs to get off there butts and express their concerns. We are all in this thing together, we all need to work as on getting everyone back on property and getting an industry standard contract and stop the fighting.I truely hope there will be a large turn out, we have to move forward with this pilot group, this sh$*t is getting old.

I added my post for clarification. Where in my post did I declare what USAPA had? I did not.

Happy Holidays. Enjoy time with your family. The company has been stalling contract talks for years. Employee morale will dictate how the holiday flying schedule ensues. The company is looking out for their best interest, they chose the weapon.

AWA successful if you will ,young , oh yea we get it! You are correct ignorance is bliss , eww that smell, flying freebird! MM!

Why do you guys always throw a smokescreen when asked a direct question. It doesn't matter what a FORMER MEC leader says. Did your MEC or Merger Committee (who dealt with the current merger) make a formal statement that ALPA policy wasn't followed?

$191,679, but that includes health and benefits?

Well at least one east pilot is getting paid almost as much as a West captain. Now if the rest of you would stop with the whinning we could get a whole lot more paid better than that.
