I know it sucks to be wrong, but throwing a tantrum won't help. Really it won't.

If you're a pilot for usairways, what letter did you receive from lcc ceo doug parker dated 12/20/2007 that lcc/usairways has ACCEPTED the NIC award?

Seems some on this board think that usairways/lcc company owned crew news video is a court of law.

OTTER, my man DEC 2007, watch the video, the company can change its negotiation stance as well as USAPA TILL A CBA is sent to ratify, nothing is closed,as for your T/A READ THE 9th, Excuse me but your 2 don't count, it aint cumulative!DOH 99 windfall, DOH is not a windfall! And your alpa east/usapa east/nic tantrum denial will keep you and your union pilot backers buds on loa 93 for a long time!

Please, I forget being a good union pilot, is it red or blue or does it make a rats a$$ difference except to the company??!!

I jsut finished watching the June 24, PHX Flight Attentdant and Pilot Crew News videos. It is comic relief at its best. All Airlines are rumor mills. It has been said that the airline business generates more rumors and miss information per mile or pound of fuel burned than any other industry.

Here are some of the current ones out West.

1. Nicolau was a judge.
2. The company will counter DOH with Nicolau.
3. The WEst is getting A330's.
3. The West will fly to Toyoko and Sao Palo
4. There will be a significant increase in Las Vegas flying.
5. Airbus A350's are just around the corner.... in 2017.

I all honesty I did like the bit about the cups and the ACARS at 8000 ft. That was good stuff.

FWIW...I think your comment (1) crew news poster knows final and binding was just that and he meant to say, "Wake" was a judge not "Nicolau"..everybody knows that the respected George Nicolau was a hired neutral arbitrator between awa pilots and aaa pilots and because of this, we have a final and binding arbitration between west and east pilots.

This award was accepted by lcc. Because of this final and binding award, lcc must use the NICOLAU AWARD in a joint contract.
 
Now usapa is speaking for the company? And what do you call that young man?? I call it DFR.

Honestly, I hope this ABORTION called usairways does not survive because of pilots/people like MUTATIS MUTANDIS and a union called usapa. With the upswing, history shows that attrition happens every where. The west will enjoy attrition along with the east and the usapa mantra seperate ops, maybe some more % on the east but with a lot on the east attrition coming from the east angry fo's right seat, so not much difference.

I'm in my mid 40's with over 22 thousands hours and typed in the B747, MD11, B737, B757, B767, A320 with captain time on all but the first and the last stated. So if lcc does not survive, I don't think I'll have to go far looking for a well paying job.

PHX anchor attached??? uhmmm. How many sailors/airlines wanted the BANKRUPT usair TITANIC as a whole? Answer is NONE, ZERO, NADA, ZIP. Parker/kirby/lease holders made a big mistake IMO buying you. Two usair bankruptcy filings in less than 2 years can't be good unless somebody wanted to make a quick buck and merge that cluster F%%k before it sinks. With the current numbers coming out, you've to wonder how well this company will do if you on the east get your snapback grievance?

FYI, parker doesn't take a dump until he gets advice from legal and hired consultants. What other employee groups have AGREED TOO has nothing to do with this pilot group.

Going forward this will be decided in a COURT OF LAW!

WOW, Can you say ZANZIBAR( oh you not only wanted it your surviveabilty depended on it), so okay between you and clear d's wrong taxiway problem you guys are without a doubt above dispute the DEFINITE WINNER in the Airman Situation Sensibility Award the first 3 caps give it away! In your MID 40's go get another job(WHO CARES) BOTTOM LINE what other employee groups agree to is pertinent, as for your last comment the EAST has a great saying, " FULL PAY TO THE LAST DAY, WHENEVER IT IS!"MM! WE sure aint stopping you from that well paying job good for you go for it!
 
First, Doug said it was accepted in that it met the company's requirements i.e. Training costs

Second, under loa93, there are aprox 300 folks on the east making more than anyone on your list

Well obviously it does to you , you brought it up, what happens if the EAST prevails in the pay grievence, where are we then? Did you listen to DP and his ASM cost margins, do you think the EAST will take a pay cut to give the WEST a raise and the NIC, MDA around the corner, WYE RIVER risk all comes in to play! MM! Do you have a CONTRACT that has that list?MM. Well, yes you do better study it fragmentation without the EAST may be a CONSOLIDATION option for this company crew news 24th!

I was a captain on a B737 when I was 25. What brought me to awa was just that..movement to the left seat. 4 year upgrade was mentioned but because of 9-11 it became 5 1/2 years. All of this doesn't matter one bit because of who I chose to go to work for and is not what you or usapa determines to arrive at a joint list.

I just looked at the west/east lists that George Nicolau used provided by our unions in determining the NIC, sorry there will be no windfall to you. You sitting in the right seat and furloughed the majority of that time does not give you super seniority by the usapa's mantra of doh and will never place you above where you think you should be on the joint list.

LCC accepted a list and will use this list in a joint contract.

Enjoy loa 93 for a long time.

Really and honestly I hope you prevail in your quest of a snapback of 30-40% pay.

The usair east's cost structure got you bankrupt twice..are you trying for a third? While you're at it, I got some pay coming from the PBGC when I turn 60...can usapa help me with this and do you have a good lawyer so I can sue the federal goverment?

BTW..sure do like those US PIT and US BWI terminals that are VACANT because of the collaspe of usair. Ramp control is nice though, especially pit.
