Hmmmm, any solutions on providing the company some incentive? Should you beg? Should you give back? Hmmmmm, what would cause the company to feel an incentive to negotiate? It is something to think about. Maybe deliver flowers and a card.

It reminds me of the bird that ran around saying the sky was falling instead of doing something about it. I forgot what kind of bird that was. Do you know?
How about having all pilots consent to the NIC as the seniority list and then working together to get the best contract possible as part of a unified union? Apart from that USAPA has no credibility at the negotiating table.

Separate operations until a combined contract. The East and West will never be able to work together safely.

I guess the East will just have to suffer and not be allowed to fly out West on the PHX out and backs. You get to keep what you brought to the airline.

"Oh death, where is thy sting".

Professional pilots can't work safely together because of their employment lineage? I'm not sure whether I am more concerned about professionals acting this way or whether the FAA should be investigating such crazy assertions.

That's your opinion and preference. USAPA has an inescapable duty to negotiate in good faith. Good faith negotiations require the unmodified NIC to be included in order to comply with a federal injunction. Failure to do so will result in compounded penalties being paid for out of the east pilots' LOA93 wages.

Well a wise legal professional like yourself should realize from nepotism to a divorced couple, companies have not allowed and greatly discouraged these groups from working together.

Please, please, notify the FAA immediately about this situation, report back on their findings.

That would be great. When is the west going to get back the 20 or so aircraft and the over 200 pilots that we brought to the merger. How about all of the routes that have been transfered to the east? When do we get those back? How about sending all of those PHX out and backs that the east is doing back so we have what we brought to the merger?

How about you guys keep the 1700 furloughs that the east brought to the merger?

N924PS,
Dare ya to answer this question simply yes or no.
Will the west in your first sentence walk past you or work alongside?

senntence 2: I know that seems to be the battlecry of the west.....but imo you may be wrong.

FA

It can't be answered with a simple yes or no. It depends on the circumstances at the time, when and if it comes.

Ask me again then and maybe there will be a clear cut answer.

Realistically, I don't think West pilots would cross the line, unless the Nicolau Award (Section 22) was the only item in the way of a new contract that benefitted all the USAirways pilots.

There is a transition agreement that mandates separate operations until a combined contract. If you lost 20 airplanes and 200 pilots, you frankly brought a surplus to the merger.

You will get the jobs back in date of hire seniority order when a combined contract is agreed upon and voted in by the dues paying members. I hope this answers you questions, sir.

So I guess you were wrong when you said that we could keep what we brought.

So far, the yellow WWDD 1-1-10 and the Pilot urinating on a Cactus stickers adorning the clipboards and jetways aren't doing the job either..........

Inflammatory statement sir. First of all the company would not allow this and neither would the East pilots. If you find such stickers it is your duty to inform the company and Union so they can take the appropriate actions. I am aware that you are an East pilot and it is a shame that you flame a web board about this, rather than doing something about this.

It takes courage, try to find this attribute in yourself and act. You can do it.
