US Pilots Labor Discussion 3/19- STAY ON TOPIC AND OBSERVE THE RULES

The basic question remains.

Had Doug Parker said, "Not interested" where would USAir have gone. Hello chapter seven.

The merger was indeed America West saving USAir's ass.

How many CEO's in the airline industry have received multiple DUI's and spent time in a women's prison? How much has this cost the USAirways employees in financial backing?

Doug Parker, America West CEO, is all you brought to the merger. Many poor choices from an "adult" that has cost USAirways employees. Your Saint is a stain in this industry.

Is character assassination a valid way to win friends and arguments?

Yawn, ad hominem attacks is such a lazy way to argue.

Capt. Chesley Sullenberger, who accepted a safety position with USAirways, decided to retire a few months later, rather than to work under Doug Parkers management team. Fact.

Here's a five year old newsflash for you, please try and keep up: The West didn't want anything from you, least of all your list of 2000 furloughed pilots and 15 year F/Os.

95% of the furloughed pilots resigned, forget about them already. The 15 year FOs..? Yes, you most certainly do want them.. to operate your gear.

I know it was a really complicated example...

Delta wanted to always remain separate to keep their left seats and wide bodies...

UsAir pilots want to always have separate ops...

Cactus pilots are screaming for the day to leave PHX to fill all the East left seats and wide bodies, and scream "gear up b!$%^&H!"

Wow! 1700 furloughed pilots 95% resigned. So 85 furloughed pilots returned. Could you keep the lies within or close to reality?

OK

How many CEO's in the airline industry have received multiple DUI's...

I don't know. Do you?

... and spent time in a women's prison?

None.

Doug did serve jail time and he was, for his safety, assigned by Joseph Arpaio (America's Toughest Sheriff) (barf) to serve his time in a jail (not a prison) usually occupied by females. (A prison is an institution that is owned and/or contracted for by the state and is normally only occupied by convicted felons. A jail is a local facility that holds people who have either been convicted of a misdemeanor pr petty crime, or being held prior to trial because they can't make bail. Prisons and jails are two very different types of facilities.)

How much has this cost the USAirways employees in financial backing?

Nothing that I know of. Do you have any contrary facts to substantiate your supposition?

You seemingly still have a job because of Doug Parker, or have you forgotten that? If I am wrong than share with me exactly what future US Airways had in May, 2005 without Doug Parker and America West? Please provide the names of parties that were going to step in and save US Airways.

As a newbie on this board, perhaps you should refrain from casting veiled insults at me, or claiming to know my level of professionalism and maturity based on a few remarks, or jumping to other conclusions based on your vast involvement here consisting of 8 posts.

Translation - I've been here longer than you therefore I'm right and your opinion is invalid.

That's the East mentality.

We all make mistakes. Four DUI's in recent history is an addiction indicator. Investors will not back such a risk.

You have been beating a dead horse with the issue regarding the future of each airline without the other. Check out America West Airlines Wikipedia, it explains the scenario you are constantly providing your opinion on. The article provides facts with links for those with inquiring minds, what a concept.

Nice information with facts and links on the history of the America West Airlines pilots by the way.

Well the investors have proven you wrong. How much has Parker borrowed or raised in the last 5 years? How many billion?

Talk about beating a dead horse. Leave the wiki alone. How many times have you brought it up this week?

Thank you for providing links to your opinion on "Mr" Parkers ability to raise financing.

I have brought up Wiki in the past, that provides facts, one out of ten times you provided your "expert" opinion. Opinions sting, the truth hurts, facts provided thrust an epee into the opinionated fool.

In response to post #130 - Ames

Here's your example:

East pilot - MONDA - (doh: 7/18/1988) 19 yrs 2 mo years of service - continuous service and has never been furloughed,

placed junior to West pilot - BOYD - (doh: 4/4/2005) 5 months of service (still on probation).

These lengths of service based on merger date of Sept 2005.

Monda is 3 numbers junior to Boyd on the Nic list dated Jan 2007.
