Can somebody give me the "quick and dirty" explanation about what transpired between Dave C. and Mike Cleary? What precipitated all the rhetoric of late? PM me if you fell it more appropriate.

No it doesn't. That's why I'm asking. There had to be some kind of disagreement which recently cropped up and is not explained. Unless folks have an idea of what it is, how can we know who is right and who is wrong? Both of those individuals have strong opinions and are not afraid to make them public. Seems bizarre that there has not been any public knowledge of any sort of factional disagreements, as happened regularly with the past CBA and left many "bodies beside the road".

Bud, if you read closely, not even that closely actually, you can see that DC doesn't like the way things are going because of Mike Cleary. Simple simple simple. This is all the evolution of the plan. The west just couldn't guess this move and we have more coming.

Exactly. DC doesn't like Cleary. The West HATES Cleary. I like DC, but we need Clearys' vision in this war, and it is full on war. You want the biggest hardcore fighter going forward, and we already have the man for the job. All you have to do is mention him, and Luvn, Clear and Driver practically levitate. Going forward. If the LOA 93 grievance is lost, could a possible Plan B offer up a LOA to help the company in this tough environment, and bring all pilot groups into alignment with regard to pay and vacation until a CBA is ratified? Is it possible a vote could be floated and make this happen with majority?

Seems the 'old' faces are reappear now so the 'internet trash talk' level is growing like a west Texas thunderstorm.

The rats are starting to abandon the ship yet the leader is (in his all knowing way) standing on the deck saying (in a supremely confident fashion) all is well. I really he hope he has his famous 'roaming hat' on.

There's your proof! All you have to do is mention Cleary, and you get a bigger reaction than kicking a hornets nest. That is EXACTLY why we want him there..

Black Swan and End of Usapa seem to always be in total agreement. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that they both signed up for us aviation on the same day, and have about the same number of posts?

Cleary is a whining, incompetent hot head. He makes knee jerk, emotionally driven decisions and thinks Lee Seham speaks the gospel. Even a hardliner AFOC charter member D.C. was nauseated by him. That is EXACTLY why we want him there..

As one of our fellow east pilots said to me the other day. They are both great guys (Dave and Mike) with totally different styles. With Mike he is coming through the front door with the double barrel shot gun. Dave is a Pit Viper. Both styles work effectively to kill the enemy.

Not one vote will be changed in the east based on the relationship between Dave and Mike......

The West does not like Cleary, however we prefer to have the engineer who is pushing the throttles on the runaway train about to reach the end of the line, and that would be Czar Mike.

Sure, after you lose the LOA93 grievance, it is possible to get all pilots into alignment on pay and vacation etc.. it is called voting on a tentative agreement.

The West does not have to guess your next move, we have plenty of past moves to already hang usapa out to dry. Once it is washed, dried and folded neatly, we will use it to our liking, thanks for setting it up for us.

Nic in a museum, what a great idea. Once we have control of usapa we will frame the Nic, and put it on the wall in the Presidents office, right next to the picture of Flt1549, might hang the gavel up there also, our own little heritage museum.

Yes, sometimes it is a T/A. Many times however, it is a LOA...........This time, it would absolutely be a LOA.

Problem is, you have a president coming through the front door of an empty burning house with a shot gun instead of a fire hose, and your Pit Viper is fighting an enemy adept at the sport of falconry, employing trained raptors quite capable of dispatching snakes in the grass.
