The two factions were well known by the even most disconnected east pilot flying the line. That, I admit is old news. But that's not what the news was about. They've been at it for a while. But for Ciabattoni to blink, especially when he's not the type to blink, means something is up. That something is not good.

As for the BPR holding all the power. Well, that's the illusion Cleary wants you to hold on to. Much tension as been created because the BPR is NOT as powerful as they like to believe. Ciabattoni pointed out this very fact in his letter.

Sounds like keeping your head in the ground means a more comfortable existence for you. By all means, keep at it..

Yes! Talked to him a while ago. Great Guy! He understands greed very well and will keep this whole thing under control. This is really part of the plan. Five years since the merger and still nothing in sight. The westies have got to be getting ants in their pants!!! I love thinking about it!

Really! Just how does Cleary know what the majority of pilots want? I have not seen a poll. I have not been surveyed. Has Cleary sat in the crew rooms and asked a majority of pilots what they think?

A majority of what pilots? Not all pilots. Could it be just the angry F/O pilots? Could it be just east pilots? Could be it the other way around and it is the majority of angry pilots that agree with Cleary and what he is doing not doing what the pilots want?

Until I see some hard data backing up that Cleary is doing what the majority of ALL the pilots want I am going to have to disbelieve you.

If it rids the world of USAPA, I'm willing to endure temporary pain versus the endless misery dreamt up in the back of a van.

Looks like some in USAPA are jumping off the train before the wreck in January. Maybe they are a little concerned about what the company has planned to crush that little egg timer.
