No lottery ticket my friend. I brought a job to this merger and so did you. You can not and will not leap frog above me because of the collaspe of the out of business usair.

So you will have no problem with the east 1990 hires ahead of the west 1991 hires? And the west's 1998 hires ahead of the easts 1999 hires?

My answer is final and binding arbitration which already happened slick.

No union, no grievance LOA93, no pay out.

If you win (long shot) under jungle rules the company will ignore the arbitration as you say. No lottery ticket for you.

Better be careful what you wish for.

SCHEDULING PROBLEM IN PHL

Just checked all the equipment in PHL tomorrow looks like a tough weekend for coverage. The only airplane with coverage is the 767I f/o position only.

Hate

must be all those clt-hnl flights....cough cough cough...excuse me, I mean clt-lax-hnl flights

Not true! The only widebodies the West can't fly are the ones listed by "N" in the Transition Agreement. Any and all additional aircraft NOT listed can be placed by the company anywhere they want.

Ok, then. What about the restriction of two European roundtrips and two Caribbean roundtrips a day, and NO European flying from east of the Mississippi for west pilots? How effective will those theoretical 300 west widebody pilots be in their new PHL digs?

Geez nyc, at least be consistent in your error...

The West pilots can fly only 2 of the European routes originating east os the Mississippi operated or announced at the time the TA was signed. How many new European routes have been announced/started since then? AMS, ATH, TLV off the top of my head - how many others? Those new routes, plus the 2 allowed by the TA, can be flown by West pilots. In other words, the West pilots can probably fly half the European routes.

Plus, of course, any S. America routes since they're not covered by the TA. Not with the 767's currently scheduled to fly those - they're covered by tail number - but with West 757's or new A330's not covered by tail number. How about PHL-ANC...those ex-ATA 757's aren't covered by tail number so West pilots could fly that route.

Ok HP driver, If your so sure, at least tell me when this vote will take place? Did you have any idea you would still be begging 2 1/2 years after the Nic came out?

Who's begging? I'm not the one on LOA 93. I'm the one getting cancellation pay. I'm the one with a better quality of life.

Did you ever think you'd still be making bottom wages after 2 1/2 years?

The next few months are going to move this whole process along rather quickly. In the mean time, you can hope for snapbacks, MDA, and whatever else gets you through the trip.
