US Airways Makes Case for Merger With American

So since Breeze won't answer, is the Nicolau accepted and part of the TA that usapa inherited?

They won't answer. Usapians play a game where there are 4 strikes.

It's called compromise, conditions and restrictions, etc.

Make it up as we go along...

Congratulations on kicking the clown, scab, gerbil habit (even if its only temporary).

Don't worry fodase.. you will be a block holding 777 Cpt by the end of summer. Quit wasting your time on the boards and go buy a boat and lake house to celebrate.

Why can't you answer the question? Is the Nicolau accepted in writing by the company as required by the TA?

Its a conspiracy, fodase. The paranoids are out to get you.

Maybe the American pilots will join you to vote ALPA back onto the property so that you can have a union that will push for the Nic SLI method you prefer. ;)

Still can't answer huh?

Parker claims the combined airlines revenues can support better contracts, don't forget the merger will come with lots of investor cash which a stand alone amr won't have.

Well then it's a good thing the FA TA was voted down.

School is out. Obviously.

You short or long bus?

Now, now, everyone knows that all the teenage airline CEOs posting from their mom's basement hang out on Airliners.nut.

1. If there is a merger with USAir pilots, the USAir pilots will be represented by their lawful bargaining agent.

2. USAPA has majority rule and ain't much changing. AA is in bankruptcy, and the West thinks AA should be damn glad that AA is being saved by Cactus pilots (it was after all the career expectation).

3. The Nic award was a proposed seniority integration as part of a TA that has never been implemented. If there is a future merger, a new TA will be negotiated. Everything is always negotiable (is being negotiated). That's life.

4. APA has 1,600 furloughs and another 400 being threatened by management. I'm sure the West would jump at the chance to side with APA to staple the East below all the AA furloughs, swapping guys with jobs for guys without... Integrity and all that Fodase stuff notwithstanding, ya know.. Of course the East would agree to be stapled to AA, even below the furloughs, if AA agrees to staple Cactus below AAA (Fodase told me so  ).

Hey P don't bother the second highest court in the land told them in plain english that until the NIC is in a RATIFIED contract it isn't worth wiping one's posterior with...or words to that effect. Sucks to be them and always will be!!

Hey RES you of the high blood pressure...what event will transpire that will MAKE the East vote for the NIC..try to answer with something remotely logical.

NICDOA

The inability to satisfy section IV C makes the NIC unusable.
What happens if a contract is voted in like the NWA/DAL merger? You know, parker says it's one airline the apa kicks usapa out and puts a contract up to a vote with seniority to be decided after the contract? The Nic. would be immediately triggered.
