Us Air To Reduce Iam-fsa Positions

Speaking of pain. The post about reducing FSA jobs seemed to be aimed at PHL and creating more MDA jobs there. PHL must of got word of this yesterday7/24,maybe that why 50 bags were left off FLT 803 and came in on the terminater many hours later.I would not be surprized to see more of this.

Denial creates more pain, more layoffs, and possibly becoming irrelevant to the process, but it's a personal choice to have it happen.

Look in the mirror and repeat what is above.

You are obsessed and should call the EAS.

PBIRAMP:

I have heard that if there is a slowdown or illegal job action, the company is prepared for this and is going to terminate employees on the spot and let the union grieve it. In addition, the airline would seek a court order to stop this action and if it is violated seek to have the union and its members held in contempt of court.

For some of the more emotional naysayers remember it’s "just a job". Life will go on…remember, as Albert Einstein said, “in the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.â€￾

New to the board, but why does this US320Pilot guy just keep repeating himself. he sounds like a broken record.

US320Pilot: Let the IAM and their members do what they deem necessary. I do not think all your rantings are going to change anything.

Give it a friggin rest.

Face it. The IAM like it or not is going to bring this place to it's knees and NOT the other way around. The will of the IAM employees is stronger then you can fathom, and exactly why you are on here begging the IAM to submit. Just call us the friendly Neanderthal mechanics.

Ha. Ha. You should really post this on the
comedy forums, not USAviation. The IAM is
virtually powerless to shut down US. As
noted by A320, the company has other
options for maintenance with vendors
who are waiting in the wings to step in
when the 30% of the militant IAM members
walk out.

Stop immediately with the arrogance and
get over yourself. The IAM will make the
choice for their members and you can
only hope they make the right decision
to keep you employed.

Spin Doc,

That is what Frank Lorenzo thought and you saw what happened to Eastern.

Nobody likes to see legacy carriers restructure, employees lose their jobs, or people suffer pain (except opportunistic LCCs and some of their employees). For those US Airways unions who elect to not participate in the new business plan I believe they will see their pain incrementally increase.

Do I like it? Absolutely not, but it's going to occur one way or another.

Nice post dude.

Mr. Spin what you're failing to grasp is I no longer care if I am employed at U, and in fact waiting in an anticipation to hand in my badge. Why. Many reasons and one BIG reason is I never could stand working for people with your attitude and this team is contaminated with them.

Kid yourself not, I don't care about your team’s plans because without the IAM there is no U. People will NOT fly with scab mechanics remembering all the crashes such as 427, it will not help matters.

Militant you call me. You sir are the one who deserves that label with all the tactics your team is pulling, expecting grown men to submit to such tactics is what’s really insane, not what you’re saying, to obey and submit to whatever plans your team has in mind.

You heard it here first. This place will NOT make it without the IAM, you’re kidding yourself just like 700 reminded you about Easter. SSDD.
