Speaking of pain. The post about reducing FSA jobs seemed to be aimed at PHL and creating more MDA jobs there. PHL must of got word of this yesterday7/24,maybe that why 50 bags were left off FLT 803 and came in on the terminater many hours later.I would not be surprized to see more of this.

I have heard that if there is a slowdown or illegal job action, the company is prepared for this and is going to terminate employees on the spot and let the union grieve it. In addition, the airline would seek a court order to stop this action and if it is violated seek to have the union and its members held in contempt of court.

virtually powerless to shut down US. As
noted by A320, the company has other
options for maintenance with vendors
who are waiting in the wings to step in
when the 30% of the militant IAM members
walk out.

Nobody likes to see legacy carriers restructure, employees lose their jobs, or people suffer pain (except opportunistic LCCs and some of their employees). For those US Airways unions who elect to not participate in the new business plan I believe they will see their pain incrementally increase.

Do I like it? Absolutely not, but it's going to occur one way or another.

Mr. Spin what you're failing to grasp is I no longer care if I am employed at U, and in fact waiting in an anticipation to hand in my badge. Why. Many reasons and one BIG reason is I never could stand working for people with your attitude and this team is contaminated with them.
