Uneaten food in DFW

I should have asked if there was actual work that day, if there was none, then they should have gotten HO, but if there was work, you should think about that when doing your next 6 day.

Why do we always have 6 days, BECAUSE YOUR SHORT HANDED

It's YOU'RE shorthanded

Does TUL work the holidays or do they still get them off? If they work them how many get HO? Line stations only a handful of mechs get HO.

Its nice to know that the guys that voted in our contract don't have to suffer it.

I don't understand the mentality of management, they placate the mechs that have a plane for weeks on end, and continually abuse the mechs that effect the daily flight schedule, it's only by the shear professionalism of the line mechs that the airline runs on a daily basis. Management wrote our contract, but does anybody think that maintenance is run any better sense BK?

Oddly enough, the AMTs refusing to partake in the Thanksgiving Day company meal at DFW - got more attention than most job actions I've seen.  Sangreco was genuinely miffed.  The AMTs have been voicing their concerns to management since the new team arrived.  Instead of attempting to get off on the right foot, the new management team decided to attempt to bully, and intimidate.  Nobody is on board with the new management team; however, by following the management teams directions - DFW AMTs will enable them - to screw themselves.

Sounds like he is a real tough guy, gonna make sure you know he is the boss, even if it costs the airline money. As you can see this is not a very effective way to manage.
What is his background?

DFW runs short handed all year long creating the opertunity for unlimited OT, then when the running short handed means guys don't get the day off with pay there's holy hell, and they refuse to eat a company holiday meal.

Wow Dfw mechs really know how to make a stand on an important issue.
Great post

It might be hard to believe but it looks like usair/am west management is as inept as ours. Could be a match made in purgatory!

There has not been no mechanics with holiday off this year. Rumor is that practice will continue.... in spite....

My guess is he failed an I.Q. test so he became a manager at America West and came along with "Chug a Lug" Doug Parker to AA.  Figures that somehow we end up with even worse management than we had before.  Thanks TWU, Pilot's Union and FA Union for paving the way for these morons.
