so TWUs contract is already amendable, so..TWU would negotiate one contract for all employees, what could IAM do for us if we were IAM nothing!!!!

You got that right! Amendable as they can get!!!! And it would be a combined group vote on the "Already being negotiated" CONTRACT!!! YES your vote counts and TWU does not rig or do just yes and no boxes on a ballot,or let anyone else fill out your ballot and tell you you already voted!

A change in representation does not change CBAs, all the twu would do is adminster the IAM CBA.

IMO I would give the CWU a chance to adminster the IAM CBA because iam sure can't. The iam has simply sold out a majority of the F/S group and now the tide has turned
and PHL knows that they cant get the vote out for the iam.

Tell you what, the TWU will be there in PHL Tues. & Wed. I encourage all of you in PHL to take a minute to meet the TWU INTL Rep. Frank Trotti on these days. He is a realistic guy and can definatley shed some light on the dark and gloomy misleading info that has been shoved down your throats up there in PHL & PIT about the TWU. You all have a right to choose. I have been in contact with several US/EAST employees, You all need to choose for yourselves dont let anyone else do it for you, You dont have to settle for what you have now until HOW MANY YEARS!

Hey Nevada, has it ever crossed your mind that the IAM cant afford to get one and send it out because they have lost more membership than any other union and lost more jobs particuraly in fleet than any other union? And on top of that raising the dues to 46.10 a month. And thats just to pay the top leaders of a leaderless IAM union triple digits!!!! I can tell you personally that the sick pay is horrible: no sick pay first day, half pay for days 2 3 4 and 5. 4 wks vacation, top rate 17.00 an hr
starting new hire pay 7.59 an hr supervisor pay 1.00 an hr more. I dont think they pay higher living costs like they used to do. hope that helps a little

terrible wages and benifts to there employees.These guys go through more ramp people then a mother changes a newborn

Go ask the ibt what happend when AMFA beat them at WN.

Call the NMB, a change in representation does not change the CBA, it happened above the new union just takes over the administration of the old CBA until the amendable date.

Precedent, learn what it means.

Even if the CBA (IAM crap, cause they are in bed with management) is administered by another union until it can be renegociated YOU WIN ! You will have at least gotten rid of the IAM ! "Take it to the bank", IAM will do nothing for you next time.....maybe another union will at least try.

Every IAM member in the M&R group has recieved a contract and the company is responsible to print them not the IAM.

It does not matter if the twu forces and election and wins, the IAM CBA will be the surviving contract.

They got it after the Teamster posted a copy of it on the Teamsters website - granted it may have not been the final version but it gave the IAM membership more information on THIER contract than they ever got from the union they pay thier dues to.

here's a quote from a number of my fellow employees and now furloughed usair agents: The IAm can take their current contract and shove it up where the sun dont shine.

that sounds like for F/S because we WERE mainline express until June 5th 2005. We never ever received a copy of the 2005 contract after the january contract was put into effect. but the useless leadership of the useless iam came to our city for us to vote on the thing and it was turned down but the strike was a go. however, we didnt receive the copy and calling the leaders of the iam (if you can call them that) went unanswered. gee i wonder why.
with the iam you can count on nothing especially if youre in a city that now Doug parker wants to outsource.
