Delta always pays enough to keep them out, whoever gets a raise they will too.He doesn’t have a union , he works for Delta Ramp, he had a union when he was Northwest.

Yes I already know that so if the RLA was affected it would be after the Janus decision.Janus case is government employees, not one's working under the RLA.
There has been NO observers in AMFA’s negotiations since they went into mediation.Maybe they don't want you to see what's really going on behind the curtain.
This is the association comprised of the TWU and the IAM. This ain't no Democratic union like AMFA.
The mediator would not allow observers, even though AMFA tried to fight for them. On the Northwest situation that was a no win situation, because 50% of the workforce would have been gone, who would vote to get rid of your brother, either way those guys were screwed. There has been NO observers in AMFA’s negotiations since they went into mediation.
And AMFA never let NW M&R vote on NW’s final offer.
How’s that democracy?
Gary cant stop it, he is only one member of the committee, all he can do is say his members will reject it.Herein lies the problem...The major IAM issues are their pension and medical....The IAM side will continue to stall negotiations. They are HALF the NC.....I am still concerned the TWU will bow down to the IAM and offer the IAMNPF in exchange for cheaper medical. The minority union controlling the majority until an actual vote takes place.
I want PETERSEN to tell all the members that WILL NOT HAPPEN....
I'll be waiting.
How is it Democracy that we were pushed into this Association? We were told we would get a vote, then we didnt, the same Q&A said we would not be forced into the IAMNPF, why should we believe it?There has been NO observers in AMFA’s negotiations since they went into mediation.
And AMFA never let NW M&R vote on NW’s final offer.

Because, I believe, they don't want to come clean that they want us all in the IAMNPF. When it does eventually come out, they hope on a TA, they will claim that they have made that clear since day one in the Association Document. I believe the Association has deliberately dragged these talks out, while the IAM members enjoy the paid Holidays, the cheaper medical, doubletime etc, to soften up the TWU side into accepting the IAMNPF. The IAM side refused to participate in the demonstrations that the TWU coordinated in all the Legacy AA hubs, nothing happened in the Legacy US hubs. This was a clear signal by the Association to the company that the IAM side was happy and that if they included the IAMNPF and the Medical they could get the outsourcing and a JCBA that locks us into the bottom for the next 5 years. Even more so than the Medical and the outsourcing I believe making the IAMNPF acceptable to the TWU membership is the biggest hold up to getting a JCBA. remember, a 5 year deal only locks us in for 5 years, the company has several options, that they have repeatedly used to get out of a deal they find unfavorable. That said I will not vote for a five year deal. And why is that Bob? Why are they keeping the membership in the dark?? That is the big question, is it not???
..
Nope. How about yours? The fact is we were told we would get to vote, then we didn't. The Association document says they will try and get us all into a DB and the only one out there is the IAMNPF.Is the black helicopters flying over your house?
We saw that unity with the demonstrations that the IAM didn't do.You do realize the Association and the members have to agree to that.
Company just can’t impose their terms.
And both sides are on the same page and unified.
Stop the fear mongering.
The IAM never said that we would not be forced into the IAMNPF. We know the company is offering us a 401K contribution of 5% plus an additional match of 4%, anything less than that is a concession to force us into the IAMNPF. Under the companys offer, if I retire 4.9 years from DOS, I could get around $50,000 from AA, not including investment earnings, how much would I get back from the IAMNPF ?IAM never stated there would be a vote.
If we were United and one why would they need to be?Were they asked?
