Nope not an A$$ clown perhaps an independent clown or independent A$$ but not an Association supporter .Right now I tolerate them because I have to and I could care less what union you're in but I do recall the incident with AMFA at NW .  To make you feel better when it comes to givebacks I'll bet one union throwing the other under a bus is common practice but to have the audacity to ask for help after that's BA!!s

Why would I do that when I'll be making $30 an hour in about six months and getting OT doing jobs that you use to do

Unions shouldn't have to ask for help from unions.
Read some union literature on how the AFL/CIO was created and get back to me.

I little background on the changing perception of unions and why they are not trusted.
This goes back to the pre-Reagon years and was exacerbated by the non support by unions of the air traffic controllers strike.
 
When unions do not support unions then this is what we have now.
 
I really don't know why AMFA is always brought up here as it is pretty much a dead issue, but I will call out the BS lies and deceptions that are perpetuated by ignorant/arrogant/deceitful people.
 
The iam/twu/ibt has such a deep hatred of AMFA that they are willing to compromise the tenants of unionism just to see them fail.
 
AMFA is not for everyone. When AMFA was voted in at UA I went around trying to sign up people for a Representative position (Shop Steward). Most responses were 'will we finally get a shop steward?' Yes, they were thinking that AMFA would assign outside people to be stewards. I was amazed.
