TWU-IAM Finally Getting Ready for JCBA Negotiations

The IAM doesnt have anything to do with fraudulent cards, there is evidence already of DL FAs who were anti-union hacking the IAM survey and other items.

The IAM KNOWS EVERY SINGLE card would have their signature verified by the NMB.

And I wouldnt be surprised if the NMB gave the IAM a heads up, and working together to find out what happened.

Otherwise they wouldnt have known about forged cards.

You know, I hear you saying the IAM doesn't have anything to do with dirty cards, yet, they were all part of the 12k cards that were turned in by, wait for it, .... The IAM.

That alone gives them most if not all of the responsibility of every single card turned in.

At the very least, this is a huge perception problem for the IAM that already is not the favorite choice of the majority of Maint. and related at AA.
Maybe the IAM did nothing wrong, but at the very least, they didn't do enough of a screen on a sizable number of cards, not a good look.

Explain how the IAM can verify a signature when they are NEVER given a signature list by DL nor by the NMB, can you do that?

Explain how the IAM can verify a card when the arent given a seniority list by DL nor the NMB?

The only time the IAM gets an eligble voters list is AFTER the NMB calls for an election.

The guys with the black helicopters came in silently and dropped them off in the middle of the night at the extra top secret drop point.

One way to verify,

Turn in cards that were signed in the presence of someone that knows they are legit.

Or , when cards are received, don't think it would be too hard to do a little research on the person to see if they are legit.

It just looks very sloppy, not very impressive.
And if you're trying to get a gig as big as DL FAs , your going to have to do a much better job than they did here, apparently.

Correct and that is why it looks bad and just puts another ding into the possibility of the association getting thru IF there is a vote allowed...

"The IAM more than anyone else wants to know who is responsible for the submission of faulty cards, and what measures can be taken to ensure that this and other representation campaigns cannot be similarly disrupted in the future. Our organizing drive to obtain economic justice for Delta Flight Attendants will continue and we will keep you apprised of developments."

I do not know about the IAM at Delta, but I understand that the Teamsters at AA were busted for forging cards ???

So I guess anything before the cards are turned in is possible..

I know the twu does. I worked with guys in the past when they tried to organize delta ramp guys over 10 years ago. They were on ub for weeks.

The IAM uses Air Transport representatives and rank and file members to organize for airlines.

So the answer is yes you use paid organizers with. At least when the membership has a card drive at AA the people doing the organizing are doing it on their own time and are not compensated in any way. They are doing it because they want change in their union representation not paycheck from the union.
