Why don't you explain to the users here what would be required to gain an M&R Union under the TWU International? Explain how the membership can petition the International by changing the International Constitution and it's by-laws. Explain how much power the Air Transport Division has at the Constitutional Convention and while you are at it, call the AFL-CIO and explain to them your intent.Overspeed said:Buck,
You are correct the multiple line locals being merged to one was for financial crisis reasons. A new side letter deal was cut with Durst but Wroble squashed it.
And no you remembered wrong. I am in favor of a TWU M&R local for AA. And if the choice were to stay TWU only I would vote yes for that too.
