Whatt???  So you are saying that the Union owns us, and we have two bosses, one that pays us and one that we pay?
NO I said that the Government owns you and us. They are the one's who will make the decision no matter who likes it. "The Rules"

Funny how right now you're advocating for what you believe are the "Rules" since they favor your position and yet you have been a fierce critic of following the "Rules" over the years, particularly and mostly when it came to the BK. You wanted to say "Damn the Torpedoes"

Just a little bit hypocritical when you think about it huh?

Anyway have a great Labor Day. I have to go to work now. Have to pay my bills until they offer me that appointed position you think I'm getting. Hey can you see what's happening with that? I haven't gotten the call?

And the US is not stopping pension payments, and you do realize the 401k match costs AA more than the IAMNPF would.

Dont let the facts get in your way.
Yes and it puts more real money in our pockets vs a promise from the IAM.

Like I said to WeAAsles, the company would love to keep paying the IAM the paltry $2 for each mechanic vs the 5.5% match on all hours worked because for the foreseeable future mechanics will be working double digit OT. They would save millions.

I said the Union doesn't own us, you responded "Not necessarily Bob" then blathered on incoherently..

Didn't say I believe in the rules, said we have to follow them. Turns out that my point was correct about BK and my attitude was Damned whatever Levine, Richards and any crooked judge may say.  I said that the law is not there to allow profitable companies set wages at a company below industry average so they can make $3billion a year in profits, in order to abrogate its assumed by the court that the labor agreements are "Onerous', their word, from the law, and that the terms are somehow putting the company in an noncompetitive position. Our wages and benefits were already below industry average but the leadership and Levine refused to aggressively pursue that, "Levine briefly brought it up in court (to cover herself) but the point was not brought before the M&R committee, instead we were repeatedly told it didn't matter, we had to meet the ask or our contract would be abrogated- (then people wonder why we still have the DFR going) they didn't even inform the committee that a demand for below industry average can be adequate grounds for rejection of the ASK. AA asked everyone for 20%, but everyone else was making Industry Leading pay, even after granting the 20% they remained industry leading. We were at the bottom and they were demanding we go 20% lower!!!  As we were going through this Pinnacle made similar demands against their pilots as AA was making against the mechanics. The Judge refused to abrogate because they were demanding below industry average.

Unfortunately for you there are a lot more suck asses than spots, just ask Todd or Sydney. Keep on plugging away for this BS Alliance and against Union democracy but I wouldn't bank on the spot if I were you, perhaps that's why you play it safe and do it all from behind an alias. So none of your peers know what you are.

Even I know who WeAA is Bob.

Josh

I have refuted bob over and over, bob has been shown to be wrong about Section 1167, bankruptcy and the RLA.

I have posted how bob used wrong information about the IAM and US negotiations, and yet he hasnt even replied to it from yesterday.

Go run and support the closet AMFA supporter, he can post under his own name yet he hides about his amfa loyalties and he sucks off the TWU and takes his ST salary and only turns a wrench on OT, yet he is an officer and works OT, which is discouraged.

You aren't refuting him on this topic. Seems like you you know the alliance's goose might be cooked with this lawsuit. I don't think the IAM will get 50% +1, so they might lose the whole Mx (not sure how the numbers are on fleet side).

Sorry I like WeAAsles and can't change it anyway without starting a new handle. Too many others have more than one handle they hide behind anyway don't they Mr Payne.

There is no lawsuit against the alliance.

They filed an appeal on something that hasnt even had a decision.  Putting the cart before the horse.
Now you left US and went to WN to better yourself, bob wont leave AA, he hides his support for amfa, and takes the TWU's money for his ST job.

And yes I did refute Bob.

Prior to the IAM rolling over and granting a company that just showed a $1.5 billion profit for just one quarter an extension of Bankruptcy won concessions with ZERO profit sharing I was willing to leave it up to the leaders of the TWU and IAM  which Union we went with to avoid a representation battle, now I want no part of the IAM either. So for me those two options, Association or IAM, are unacceptable.

my reply:

The IAM was not negotiating with AA, they were negotiating with US Airways the 5th largest carrier in the US.  The companies are not merged and the IAM was in negotiations for almost three years with US, not AA.

US did not make $1.5 Billion in profits, that would be AAG which owns both AA and US.

Bob you know better.

And the IAM took the path the members wanted, they wanted a bridge agreement then a JCBA.
Dont let the facts get in you way.

Still nothing from bob.
