Bob, Since you are an elected Officer of the TWU, I would like to see you be a positive role model.

Can you reverse you inherited hatred for the International and anti-rhetoric towards the majority on these boards and give us some POSITIVE comments in the future towards the TWU and tell us some POSITIVE changes you are planning to accomplish in Local 591 to help the membership?

Inherited hatred? Not likely, my Grandfather served in the 4th Northern Division of the IRA around the time Mike Quill did. So I certainly didn't "inherit" any hatred toward an organization that was founded by many veterans of that war for independence.

Got another piece of mail from the TWU, I wish they spent this money trying to represent us instead trying to scare us last year. Maybe if the TWU didn't go out of it's way to making us have the worst contract for the last 10 years, maybe they wouldn't have the possibility of losing the AMTs to another union.

The only good contract we got was when AMFA was a serious threat in 2001. That's when we got our own locals. Now we lost our locals without any say so, because we would be insolvent but yet the ramp locals are going to be fine. Someone explain that one.

I agree. It seems there is all kinds of money but they don't want to spend it to help us get better deals.
