Tulsa AMT movement.

Unfortunately I don't think there will be openings in TULE, they most likely will lose heads, the openings are in JFK, LGA, ORD and LAX. housing is not cheap in any of those stations.

I find it funny how the USAIR people think that their seniority will get them on any flight. I guess they don't realize there is a lot seniority at AA. There are a lot of the real senior FAs that commute from all over the country, and they like to bring their husbands on their trips. I'm talking 35 plus years.

Look on the bright side, you'll never get bumped by the daughter of a 30 year part time ramper who shows up at the last minute. Also you can travel all over the country, rather then just CLT, PHX PHL and DCA.
Good one!!  I liked it.

I was talking to one of my moron coworkers a few days ago, and asked him what he plans on doing if they close PIT.  He said, " I'll just commute to Philly, I'm senior."  I said not unless you plan on driving, because with FCFS, you probably won't get on the flight.  He said "What's that?"

We're on our own little island here.

He might be able to get Philly, but that all depends on if we get to bump to any station that has someone junior. If we keep the juniority method, Philly might not be on the list of stations to bump into.

JFK is real short and so is ORD. JFK is being drained by Miami. I'm thinking PHL will be a salvation for some, but I'm willing to bet JFK ORD and LAX are the realities for most. When AA closed MCI the TWA guys went to AFW LAX STL JFK then AFW closed now they're going everywhere. I see that in the future for the PIT guys and some TUL guys, my advise explore the city's and see where you want to go. There are tons of cummuters so going in and out of PIT or TULE will be rough.

The only good thing is the OH guys will be less likely to vote in crappy contracts to protect their kingdoms.

Hopefully we will see the juniority system go away with the jcba.

I can't blame anyone for not wanting to move to any of those cities. I would not want to live in a Democrat cess pool either.

Everyone's political opinions are different.  Calling the East Coast a Democrat Cess Pool to those of us who grew up there and now live in the GOP controlled Po Dunk Hell Hole of Oklahoma find your comment pretty funny.

I'm finding it funny that a guy from Tul considers himself a conservative when they are living off the union teat. Let's see how many no Union votes come from TULSA.

Rand Paul 2016 and I'm from Chicago !!!!!

I am sorry you feel that way. I hear JFK has a lot of openings.

Yeah, pretty funny..  Considering that a mechanic at American Airlines in TUL has no chose in a closed shop. That's just like a Liberal Democrat  owning a gun and being for the 2nd Amendment or anything in the US Constitution

Typical response from the "Compassionate Conservatives".  I think I'll stay a while.  Besides, it does wonders for my self esteem.  You can't help but feel good about yourself when you are surrounded by people who have "See Ment" poured for their driveway. hahaha.  I bet you're still pissed they cancelled Hee Haw.

Stations that get the work done done, get the work.
I've heard that for 29 years but I've never seen it. In fact I've seen the opposite. look at STL and MCI, both had the best performance in the system, one shut down the other cut down big time. Look at AFW, much better performance than TUL but they shut that down as well. We had the 767 Bcheck at JFK for a number of years and had the best performance in the system, they shipped it to LAX which at the time was struggling with what they had. So dont believe it if you think by working harder and jumping through hoops to get the planes out that it makes you job in that location any more secure than if you did the absolute minimum. When our guys asked why we were losing the B-check the companys response was "routing". MCI learned the hard way about getting the work done, when they got it done they were done, closed up.
