Additional 737 heavy check line starts in August.
Total 2 LC ,2 HC, 1 Mod line and 1 probably 2 acceptance check / drop in lines.
These are new lines starting up? If so that's awesome. The Tulsa chamber of commerce is really doing a good job.

only the heavy starting in August is new.
they are pushing hard to finish the refurbish of dock 1A by then.
The planners are kind of peeved ,as this was dropped on them  yesterday.

Dock plan shows 92 heavy checks in 2015. Looks like plenty of work.
It may be plenty of work, however, no one has addressed the issue of over 100 excess heads in overhaul.  Is this an indication of some furloughs coming?  Or just some moving around or what?  Coming from the pres of 514 I am assuming there is going to be some disruption within overhaul here soon and seems everyone is talking about how many lines are worked thru-out.   What is going to happen to the 100 excess heads???

The new line is slated for 130 heads,... from 3+4 (MD80 heavy going away),2A (overmanned), and hangar 5 guys.

From what I can tell we will do between 50 and 60 heavy checks this year if the dock plan doesn't change so 2015 is going to be a very busy year plus we will be doing 767 heavy checks.

since the dock plan on the m&e site only goes to the end of 2014 I'd like to know where you get your information?

Seen it in our weekly crew meeting. Ask your manager, that's who showed it to us.

I hope it wasn't the same manager that told us Alliance Fort Worth was doing great and we are securing our future.

Hangar 3/4 update:
17 AMTOs are being labor loaned to A/C cleaning for 90 days. Cleaning, washing and buffing A/C.
They will not lose title classification pay or time.
The Union supposedly signed off on it.
