The IAM has all ready put out fake fliers and two days later start campaigns on the misinformation on the flier so I don't trust to much from the iam and as far as the twu I feel the same and for twu to use amfa or amfa on it's own to make statements of forged cards because they are a$$ burned that the IBT filed and twu to use this to try to stop the IBT

The flyer wasnt fake, you never proved it, the ibt said its fake, and offered no proof just a letter, I have read the affidavit to the NMB and the letter from WC who was being attacked by the ibt.

He didn't prove it was fake, the same way you didn't prove it was real.
That being said, I lean towards it being real- by trying to get favor among AA mx by using seniority as a wedge.

What makes no sense is that the former ibt represented mechanics have gotten an average of 30% increase since the merger, and they complain.

You had no sick time, no pension and the worst scope language in the industry.

Let's back up a few steps here. So now the ibt organizers are admitting under oath to the NMB that they forged cards for the election, and not just one or two but several? If this is true then it only proves that the TWU/ibt/AA (company) were all in collusion to block AMFA from getting a chance to be voted in. Since when do the teamsters/ibt admit under oath that they fraudulently did something? Never. Unless they are trying to pull out of the election on their own and as promised to the TWU and the company. I think the NMB should allow AMFA to represent the cards they had at the time and see if an election would be called for. Since the ibt filed under illegal forgery and an election should have never been called in the first place, then the NMB should allow AMFA to move forward...

I think after reading the two links provided it is over for the IBT at AA.
Amazing this is the first drive at AA and they forge cards to try to get an election.
How sad and the real losers are the AMT's who supported AMFA in a real legitimate
drive. I think the NMB needs to review and change their rules with multiple unions conducting a drive for the same work group.

I don't Trust any UNION. But as it goes the IBT worked hard for me at AWA and I have no problems with them as they did not sit on their a$$ and just collect dues. I also look at the contracts in our field now and what the IBT has done for them and what they have for Pay and Benefits compared to the DIRT LOW PAY and HIGH Medical and FLAT OUT Poor Benefits the IAM got us.
So with a straight face, Dam Right Skippy I Support The IBT!!!

Why not just claim that since any mechanic at UAL can work a weekend of overtime, WE ALL MAKE OVER $40 an hour.

I think your right. 1AA said it best that after reading the sworn statements from the ibt organizers about the forgery that there will not be an election at AA. Not knowing the results at US as of yet, I can only hope you guys will stay IAM, and wait for the election vote for the new "association" OR the election vote between TWU and ibt. Either way, there will be another chance to get AMFA in. Not 100% sure about the TWU/IAM new "association" vote, but if the ibt was to win the current election at US there will be another later on to see what the combined M and E group wants to represent them after merging into one. This is where All the AMFA supporters will get a chance to use the "write-in" option and get AMFA put on the "run-off" ballot. With all that said, I really think that the ibt is done, finished in the aircraft mechanics and related fields in aviation. The illegal forgeries, fraudulent card collecting, promises of pensions, industry leading contracts, pay and bennies, plus the collusion between ibt/TWU and AA to block the AA employees a true democratic choice to have another choice of representation, plus all the illegal activity and connections to the mob (STILL), all of this plus more will be the final demise of the ibt in this field. We will found out in less than a week at US. But I still say there will be no election at AA due to the forgery/fraudulent charges against the ibt, but then again this was all planned this way to keep AMFA out.
