Come Aug 12th. and the ibt looses election at US, Travis will suddenly disappear. Pretty sure we are all on the same boat about the ibt and TWU election at AA; dead in the water...I think Travis is in denial over this whole IBT filing at AA.
Reading his recent posts he reminds me of the character on Ray Donovan who plays
BUNCHY DONOVAN.

The ibt just signed a terrible deal at usairways for customer service and begged that the ibt members could make what the bankrupt amr agents make. Never mind that the ibt gave up scope.
Not sure how they will come through for usair mx with leading wages if they couldnt keep work or get more than a 2% for other usairways workers.

I don't see how he's overpaid. I actually don't think he is overpaid, although his pay is closer in line to what it should be vs. the amts who are well below. I'd love to hear your thoughts as to how he's overpaid

I will have to retract what I said to a point. He is happy to get the pay he gets and your right when compared to the dirt low AMT's wages of the IAM at US who helped him get to that pay, I see why he is happy.
OK 700 he has a 8 hr training class, Does he have a HAZMAT licence issued by the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION? NO he doesn't but he is happy using OUR AMT Licence's to get higher pay for him self.
700 this is why your IAM has failed they have used the AMT's to pull other work groups up in wage, GSE mech, Parts department stock person's and so on rather than getting the AMT's HIGHER Wages First
And 700 no matter what the outcome on the 12th it will be GOOD FOR THE AMT'S because the IAM will have been put on Notice Of Replacement or REPLACED.
Sleep Good 700 the 12th is just around the corner.

Teamsters ask for more time on American Airlines election case after TWU accuses organizers of falsifying signatures

Last week, the Transport Workers Union submitted material to the National Mediation Board alleging that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters had forged signatures to “showing of interest” cards.
As a result, the Teamsters – who are seeking to supplant the TWU as bargaining agent for American’s mechanics and related employees – asked the NMB on Tuesday to give it until Aug. 23 to respond.
The Teamsters also asked to see non-redacted documents. The filings by the TWU had blacked out the names of the accusers and other relevant information.
The IBT “takes TWU’s charges very seriously and is planning to submit a complete response to TWU’s accusations,” Teamster staff counsel Nicolas M. Manicone said in Tuesday’s letter to the NMB.
“The IBT’s task in this regard is more difficult because it does not have access to all of the relevant TWU allegations. By separate letter today IBT requests unredacted versions of the TWU’s brief and declarations so that it can respond to TWU’s allegations,” the letter stated.
As an example of the TWU accusations, the TWU submitted a declaration from someone who purported to be part of the Teamsters organizing team at American.
“There were multiple cards from the same workers with different signatures, assessments of workers who were never spoken to, and there were authorization cards from at least 1500 workers who had never been seen, spoken to, or assessed,” the declaration stated.
Another declared that he or she was aware of reports of falsifications involved in the collecting of signatures.
In its filing July 23, the TWU noted: “While our declarants did not directly witness the commission of the forgeries, they were alerted to this misconduct by fellow organizers and other staff who either witnessed the misconduct or were made aware of it.”
The unions are also sparring on the issue of who should be on or off the list of eligible voters.

Yes we will. ibt is dead at SWA. IF and I repeat, IF there were a need for a new union to represent the SWA mechanics we will go with our own private union just like our pilots have. The SWA mechanics have learned a lot from AMFA coming in with how much members running the union and what it takes. The next union at SWA (if needed) will be a SWA mechanics union just like our SWAPA pilots union. Never again will an industrial union be elected back into SWA. So take your pipe dream of the criminal ibt ever being here to represent the mechanics. The ibt will soon be out of the class and craft of mechanics at all airlines. Like I have always said, "THE TEAMSTERS WILL BE THEIR VERY OWN DEMISE" Keep posting Travis...
