Teamsters filed at USAir for representation

What has the IAM done for the membership in the past decade? Delivered concessionary contract after concessionary contract, allowed US to stall negotiations, lead the industry in giving away scope (UA T/A case in point), entered into backroom deals with the TWU.

Explain why the IAMNPF has cut benefits for their recipients several times.

Explain why CWA has mainline employees in more stations than the IAM.

The IAM has failed their members plain and simple, you are simply too blind to admit it.

The association is all about the appointed keeping their cushy positions and allowing the dues to keep flowing. Once again, when and where did the membership ask for this nonsense?

So im hearing its ibt for lcc mx. Funny because the glr reports all tell scab sito that its iam all the way.

That's weird, I'm hearing a mix. I still don't know anyone personally who's voting Ibt, but I do know some of those who are voting IAM that aren't happy with them, but know that they're better off iam than Ibt.

I think all of ORD voted IAM. I haven't talked to one person in CLT who voted IAM though.

First it was a sacrifice for the good of the industry now it is a MISTAKE?

Either way, amfa "admitted" only that they failed by blaming every other union for their failure. "We are sorry that the other unions would not support our stupid decision" is not admitting a mistake.

EL SALVADOR - amfa. the union for the industry, agrees with the company (and apparently you too swamt) that American workers are not "up to par" with mechanics in other third world countries??? And they create an agreement allowing good jobs to leave this country??? You call this "for the good of the industry"?? You mean management, right??

Keep twisting and spinning Anomaly. I did not switch from, good for the industry, to a big mistake. These are your twisting words. The AMFA/NWA guys and gals did do it for the industry as a whole. Was there a mistake or two made along the way? YES there was. AMFA admitted to these mistakes and moved on. Does not change the fact that the union members at NWA still had to make a move for themselves as well as the industry, PERIOD.
Again you try and twist and spin the next subject. YES, a third party FBO was not "up to par" with the maint that was expected from them by SWA, not me dumb a$$. This was solely SWA's decision. Trust me your company has done the same thing in the past, just all airline companies have. BTW, I voted NO on the contract we are talking about to move maint to ElSolvador. Keep spinning and twisting as you always do...

Well let help the simple country boy out here.Don't worry about my spelling cause I don't care ok.first off I looked at your links to the document in question. I found a couple of interesting things. I down loaded the pdf you posted and right clicked on it then clicked properties, curious thing its author is James Carlson.Doing a search I find he works for the IAMAW.Funny huuu and send off why would the teamsters send you anything your not even an active IAM member.
Thats because it was sent to him from AA at JFK and ORD and he converted it to a PDF file from a JPG.
allstrike it's good to see you back on here.. You know this good old country boy could use some ground support from time to time.

WELL MR 700UW IAM... HOW DO YOU TWIST AND MISLEAD THIS??????

(Mr. Cashion acknowledged that the lAM and not the IBT had
created the document, and explained that "the gloves are off' and that the lAM would use
whatever tactics are needed to win the election. This extends apparently to the
falsification of documents like the attached.)

YES 700 YOU AND THE IAM FLAT OUT LIE. HERE ARE THE FACTS.

HAVE A HAPPY IBT DAY...
VOTE IBT.

I think you're right, but I think most of pit went IAM. Its funny reading Travis' sob story, and how he talks about the teamsters getting him a raise. Great, but didn't the IAM also put money in his pocket with the 08 disaster? I'm no IAM cheerleader, but I am definitely not an IBT fan.

SO YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY.......OK AMFA BOY I AM NOT LAUGHING.. I'am GLAD YOU HAVE HAD SUCH A CHARMED CAREER AND MAY GOD BLESS YOUR ARROGANT LITTLE SELF.

Have a nice IBT night!

I've worked under plenty of #### contracts, just like you. Yeah, I gave up seniority for pay and security, so suck it. You could do the same for yourself if it was important to you. You don't care to address the rest of my post, you know, the part about the IAM gettin you some more cash in your pocket? 'Cos $34 is a lot better than $25/26. I am not arrogant, but I'm not gonna sit there and play victim for something that I have the power to change, unlike yourself.

Better off iam than IBT.. Are you kidding me?? There it is. According to blue collar, choose iam and settle for $34 (eventually......maybe). I am a pinch over $40 with my IBT contract. How 'bout them apples blue collar??

OK PAL..The IAM has failed here and I am in the middle of replacing them because I have the power to change UNIONS here for what I want so your SWA AMFA input Doesn't mean DUNG to me and what I want.
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW IF THE IBT WAS TO NOT WIN I WOULD STAY IAM BEFORE I WOULD VOTE FAIL-AWAY AMFA .

You say the NWA mechanics did this for the good of the industry? I say the amfa provided a road map that other carriers were able to learn from in order to gut wages and pensions from their respective employees. I thank the amfa leadership at NWA for teaching UA how to maneuver a bankruptcy and steal my pension, wages, and benefits.

With this little gem, your ridiculous teamster sycophantic zeal has crossed into sheer and utter idiocy.

So NWA AMFA Leadership teaching UAL how to maneuver a bankruptcy and steal your pension, wages, and benefits.....well lets review.

UAL filed bankruptcy in December 2002

UAL mechanics first took concessions under the IAM in 2003 via the 2003-2009 CBA

UAL mechanic pensions are seized by the PBGC in March of 2005

UAL mechanics take second round of concessions in May 2005 under AMFA via the 2005-2009 CBA

So by the end of May, 2005 UAL had stolen your pension, wages, and benefits.

NWA AMFA mechanics didn't go on strike until August 2005

NWA didn't file bankruptcy until September 2005.

Just another splendid example of your special brand of teamster lunacy.

Just looking over my teamster contract and I don't see how you can come up with ..... a pinch over $40 .... please explain.

Thanks for listing all the other amfa disappointments.
