Rumors from local 514

Has it been posted anywhere how much premiums are going up. For Value Option for my wife and I, we paid $324.38 a month in 2014. I think I've seen the deductible is going up $50.

Jetnet said average premium increases are $60 per month.  Deductibles are going up also.  This should surprise nobody as we have been giving back raises for a long time.  Of course we must remember that from 2008 to 2012 we didn't even get the raises in pay while AA jacked premiums up.  I wonder how the pilots and FAs got caps on their premiums way back when but the TWU couldn't get that even though they gave away so much more than any other union.  We also found out AA management was paying less for the same coverages that we were getting.  We were supposed to get more equity for that but when you figure in the 14% grabbed by the international we end up getting screwed again.  Need I remind you that we are paying for this kind of representation?

The report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics does not paint a very good picture. Projected rampant outsourcing to foreign countries is an obvious factor in this statistic.

I doubt the company cares when projected growth is only 2 percent over the next 10 years.

That is not a statistic, it is a best guess projection based on current trends. I would not expect your dumb ass to know the difference.

A reminder of why I have to watch every word I say around libtards. Libtards like to pick one word out of a sentence instead of an expressed idea and beat it to death.

That should have read

I stand by what I said.

Now go ahead and grind my one word error into the dirt instead of considering the intent of what I was saying.

Typical liberal.

Prior to bankruptcy, the APFA members paid half of what we paid for health insurance for the same coverage. To get back to the thread, what is local 514 telling it's members about the alliance?

The conservatives from OK, continuely support an industrial union. What a bunch of liberals.
The only difference between a democrat and a republican is, who is paying them off and even then they get paid by the same donors hedging their bets.

Obama is accused of everything Reagan actually did. Reagan pulled the Marines out of Beirut after they were attacked with no payback, gave amnesty to illegals, raised taxes.

So what is local 514 telling it's members about getting an industry leading contract?

There was "payback", in response to Beirut we invaded Grenada, sure showed them. Then with Bush II in response to the Saudi funded terrorist attacks on the US we invaded a country that was also the enemy of AlQueda, Iraq.

To be fair the top saw huge tax cuts under Reagan, the majority simply had to fund those cuts by paying more.  Remember when we used to be able to write off medical expenses, car loans, student loans etc etc? We lost all that so the richest Americans and the corporations they owned could pay less. We had to fund "their" American dream of being Kings.

Ok back to the rumors.  Why hasn't local 514 shown any support with 591 and Peterson's letters to the NMB about the SCAM this alliance is trying to pull off right now?   If anything they should have put out a letter of support or a letter against everything he wrote to the NMB, BUT, nobody has done anything,  wonder why that is?  Hmmmmmm...
