Polls at this stage of the game mean nothing.
The poll was conducted by Rasmussen, Not Fox News.
Maybe this from the Huffington Post will be more pleasing. Paul wins
It is irrelevant where the poll comes from. Being ahead of the pack this early in the race is meaningless. History has shown that those who lead this early almost never become President.
I believe they call it politics. I believe there are few cases of it on the right as well. Look at the 2000 primaries in SC. Ask McCain what he thinks of character assignation. Are you new at this?
The right hasn't mastered it to the degree the left has. Secondly both the Republicans and Democrats have taken aim at Ron Paul. He is the establishments worst nightmare. If by some chance he does get elected how long before he gets shot? I don't think he lasts his term if elected
Who invented 'swiftboating' and Lee Atwater.
Nobody needs to take aim at Paul. The more he talks, the less people will listen.

I cannot think of any candidate who has run for the WH more than once who ended up making it in. Has there been one? That's not to say it won't happen but it is a curious trend.
OH Yea. Forgot about Tricky Dick. Were there any others? This RP's 3rd run right?
Comments like that really chip away at the claim that you are not a 'republican' libertarian. The republicans are equally talented at attacking a persons character rather than issues. Clinton and the BJ, Kerry and his Viet-Nam service, McCain and his illegitimate child, Willy Horton, Dukakis and the tank ride, the ACCORN video which got an innocent employee fired for doing the right thing ... etc. Rove took character assignation to a art form.
Your party stinks just as much as all the rest. You are just too smitten with yours and hate the others to see the truth.
Judging from the things I have seen, democrats are attacking him in a way that it keeps him in the lime light (as with Trump). Republicans are trying to shut him up because they know he will split the vote and cause them to loose any shot at the WH.
