Skeptical, the guy is writing U.S. style English in the third person. He lies about a paycut, he has no credibility.

It is interesting about the MAS reading this board. To think a so-called bankrupt company has enough money to hire people to read these boards all day. Wonder what that job pays?

Oh really? Why? Is your name really 777guy? According to the guy from London they topped out at the equivelent of $80,000 US. What do you consider "considerable"?

We don't have union representation in Europe and it would appear that it is a good thing, if you read through all the AMFA/TWU squabbling on this forum.

We are all in this together, working for the same company,with the same problems, whatever side of the Atlantic you are on.

Are we in this together? So you "feel our pain"? You dont even want to tell us who you are, what you make or how much of a paycut you guys took. You are foreign maintenance, you are taking work and money away from us. You are not a part of our contract or any union. You are not with "us" you are with yourself. If you were not there we might see field trips to fix our planes. Work that if we really had a union would be ours. I remember the guy from London saying that a few minor perks were lost, pay raises delayed and overtime was curtailed. Thats it.

Since right now it is actually only 12:45 pm in New York (not 3:45 pm), it is obvious that Mr Owens is lying - he doesn't really live in New York. That puts Mr Owens in the Mid-Atlantic somewhere.
