I'm still in disbelief that no one has mentioned how horrid those polos are!!! YUCK-O!!! Blieve you me, I sent in my two cents about 5 minutes after that About US got into my email box at work. YUCK!!!! :cop: <--- The fashion police have been notified!

When everything is so bad, it's hard to single out one item. But NO POLO SHIRTS. You are right they are horrible.
I just hope they go back to the drawing board on these items, but I have a feeling they have made up their mind already. Walmart has been lowering their prices alot lately. :boring:

When I wear Plain fronts the pockets bulge open. So when I said before they only looked good on thin men...I should have said they only look good on men with No REAR END!!! :D

If I have to say so myself (others have too :)) I wear flat front pants and I DO have a rear end. I switched to flat front pants myself because pleated made me look pudgy. 30 waist is hardly big. :) So what if people look down at my crotch. Hey mama gave it.. show it off!! :)

Ok,

All you F/As need to identify if you are male or female when posting!, LOL

Look if you like flat fronts then you should wear them. They should also offer pleated for those of us who want to wear them!!! I am sure there are others out there who want pleated as well. I just think there should be a choice!!! That way everybody feels comfortable when they wear them. Ohh and if you truly have a 30inch waist I doubt you could look pudgy!!! Even in pleated. :)

Trust me, They did. Those pants looked horrible on me. Add to the fact that you have an aviator shirt that is way too big. You have a belly in your back. :)

The ties and scarf uniforms are for Flight Attendants. The navy polo shirts and blouses are for ground agents.
I like the flat front pants. I just hope they give us more optional items like vests for both men and women.

I like the colored shirts, but that's about it.

It was no surpise that we didn't get some famous designer to design our new uniforms, but these outfits are terrible. We have had the same uniform for almost 20 years and now the new one that they are proposing looks like it was designed about the same time as the old.

The ladies two piece outfit looks so plain and boring with no color and buttons that go too high for a scarf to look right with it.

I don't even know where to begin with the jacket the lady is wearing. The cut is awful, and piping is so outdated. Once again it seems that the jacket option will have men and women looking the same. I had hoped for something with a shorter jacket and patterned blouse for the ladies, and a nice cut jacket (maybe double breasted) and colored shirt for the men. I like the idea of scarves and ties with color. Why not have two color options (maybe red stripes and silver stripes) and a third heritage option.

The patterned shirts for Hawaii (my guess) are a great idea, but I don't think I've ever seen a grey and white Hawaiian shirt. If there was a place for a really colorful shirt it would be Hawaii. The polo shirt opition is something many people were hoping for, but even those look dull and boring.

I know it is difficult to create a uniform that everyone will like or look good in. But since we only get a new uniform every decade or two I would hope the company would spend a little more time on concept and design.

I thought that having a brand name design our new uniforms would be ideal. Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Eddie Bauer...what a great opportunity for added publicity to have flight crewmembers modeling their names across the globe.

Regardless of who designs our new uniforms, there is going to be someone out there who truly hates it.

As for the debate on pleats or flat front trousers: We currently have an option for both here on the west side. I like this because I wear pleats more comfortably than flat front and they do look better on me, personally. The point I am trying to make is give us options, choices, and more options! My opinion has always been "it is not the uniform itself, but how you wear it". I am totally "old school" when it comes to wearing my uniform. I prefer a tie, heavy starched shirts, pressed pants and wear my jacket year round. That is my preference. That is my CHOICE. If other members of my crew have different choices or prefer another option, then so be it. BUT, whatever you choose, you better wear it well! B)

More like....

Camryn Manheim
Lane Bryant
Delta Burke

*duck* Just kidding....

I like the fact that we are no longer going to wear the aviator shirts.

I like the button down shirt with the tie, but I wish it has more color.

I like the Hawaiian uniforms for the hawaii and carribean trips. I flew on Hawaiian and Aloha and the grey Hawaiian shirts look a bit like their uniforms.

I am not suprised that we didn't get designer uniforms since the company is on a budget.

Sorry, I am fine with polo shirts. Just give me color. Also, a mock crew option for winter would be great. Sorry guys, I hate ties and none of your rationale will convince me. Take your best shot. I LOVE the polo!! SUFFER suckers!!
