The scarf is out of place in my opnion with the look.

Hate the untucked shirt. As the woman in the picture demonstrates, people tend to wear shirts that they do not have to tuck in tigher and rolls show through.

The jacket still looks like a mans jacket to me.

Do you think United's LAS beased flight attendants tell the Chicago and New York and Frankfurt and Tokyo based FAs that the desert is too hot for a scarf, or a colored plane?

They were just stating their opinion on what it would be like in the desert!! That's why we should have different options and for the scarf to be worn different ways (and tie optional on domestic) and if you've ever been on a 737 in PHX when it's 120 degrees then you may have an opinion on it too. What has happened to you lately Fly? Everything does not have to be negative, I know the MAA deal sucks, jesus I helped start MAA and lived it too (alot of us have) but sometimes you just have to let go and move forward just like the other 60,000 current/furloughed employees will have to do. As far as the paint job, it was looking pretty rough and was too Wolf, Not everything is going to be the "USAir" way anymore (Thank God!)

I'm just pi##ed that they are only going to offer plain front pants...or so I hear. I don't like plain front, they do not look good on me! They only look good on really thin guys! I hope they come to their senses and offer both plain and pleated front pants!!!

The uniform should have options for everyone, but lets not make it all about the "oh were in the desert". Dont wear the scarf or tie if its hot, but I dont see our new york flight attendants demanding a wooly hat. There just seems to be a lot of catering to the west when there are many more employees than in PHX. They are not just a regional airline flying ma and pa to vegas anymore!

that's not true--you have to buy them to fit you and not the waist size you wish you were. pleated pants are very out of date these days--even on suits.

Well I do not want to get too graphic, but plain front pants are too revealing on me, (around the zipper if you know what I mean)they fit just fine but I'd prefer to be revealing after hours at my second job!! B)

Well they look alot better than what we have now!!! What an improvement. I'm a boy but I think the women's prototype is sharp. I like the men's but hopefully keep the tie for international and ditch for domestic. A little red somewhere may be nice too.

Yeah, where's the accented red I keep hearing about? They're just ok. I will still take those over now. I know this isn't final, but that tie is AWEFUL!! Please, people, I can find a better tie at K-Mart. Does ANYBODY in that group have an ounce of fashion sensibility? I think not.

Not true! I am a 33 waist on a good day, 32 after a long day, but generally a 34. My inseam...or lenght of pants..is a size 30 short. If I wear pleated paint, they make me look heavy. When I leaped to the plain front, I looked MUCH thinner and will never go back to pleats.

Flat fronts do look nice...if you like Flat fronts! I do not care for them on me. I just think the choice should be the wearers to make. They should offer the choice...Flat or Pleated. I have to buy a 36 to a 38 waist...not cause Im huge but because my back side is not FLAT. When I wear Plain fronts the pockets bulge open. The shirts look terrible with the scarf!!! I like the scarf, but, they need to find a nicer blouse that tucks in. The look they have in the pic went out in the 60's. What kind of shirt is that? It looks like a cross between a vest and a shirt. AWFUL!!!!!!! Who are the numnuts that are coming up with this crap? Does anyone know who is designing the uniform? I know who the vender is, but, who actually is coming up with these designs?

The uniform jacket on the lady in the picture on the upper right looks horrible. It makes her look like a female Howdy Doody or Buffalo Bob, all they need to complete that look is a sring with a rock on it hanging around the neck.

That's because they are too tight. Buy a bigger waist and get them taken in and your pockets won't bulge.
