potential new f/a& customer service uniform pics on "about US"

I for one think that it is a MASSIVE improvement. But the polo shirts just dont seem quite right. would like to see a few possible tie/scarf styles. Also...any idea how CSA & FAs are going to be differntiated with the new threads?? That is something that should be taken into account.

On top of that...before a final decision is made, lets try to see if we can get something that will work for another 20 yrs like the current one has (thats efficiency). Im joking.

Honestly I'm glad they are just "proposed" outfits. Lord I hope they don't go with any of those designs. They are not very good.

Well I do not want to get too graphic, but plain front pants are too revealing on me, (around the zipper if you know what I mean)they fit just fine but I'd prefer to be revealing after hours at my second job!! B)

Where's the men's blazer/jacket?

Flat front pants are more flattering to all, pleats make people look larger than they are (does anyone watch "What not to Wear?) and USStew23, you can wear those flat fronts with pride.

This is the opportunity to look AWESUM and once again they are screwing it up. Everyone needs to bombard them with thoughts on it. I for one have sent several emails!

The Flight Attendant uniforms doesn't have alot of colors. I don't get that.

Grey button down shirts with grey ties? I thought we were getting red ties and scarfs?

The pic I posted is from the Emirates website. They, along with even the SWA-type carriers in Europe (Ryan Air, Buzz, Wizz, Easy Jet) all look better than US. Put US crews in ANY European terminal and we look like bag people. Even Air Tanzania has a better uniform!

The biggest problem we have is no one enforcing uniform regs. I just flew with a guy who was wearing a DKNY sweater (had the logo on it) with his wings. I would love to have a new uniform for no other reason as to get away from the free for all that's going on now. That said, I still think the prototypes look like crap. Why couldn't they get that fashion reality show to design us a new uniform.? We'd at least be getting free publicty on national tv (something the airline will never do on its own).

That's because they are too tight. Buy a bigger waist and get them taken in and your pockets won't bulge.

Just so you know...I do bye the appropriate size!!! Flat fronts just dont fit me right...in any size. And since you will NOT be wearing them I would just as soon you keep your thoughts about the size I should bye to yourself!!!
